I have just completed the 17 day Japan tour and it has been an incredible trip. The itinerary is packed with a wide variety of experiences from an origami class, staying in a 1000 year old temple, seeing snow monkeys (if you are lucky!) and a Samurai class to name a few. There is also plenty of free time throughout the trip to shop and explore which I appreciated as there were a few things I wanted to do which weren’t part of the itinerary.
My group leader Dan is an absolute legend!! It is my second tour with him and he always goes above and beyond to ensure we all have the best experience possible. He truly cares about each individual in the group and ensures everyone feels included. When we had free time Dan gave us plenty of recommendations of things to see and do and took us to additional places. He has an extensive cultural knowledge of Japan and I learnt a lot about Japan which I didn’t know about prior to the trip. It was also my birthday on the second day of the trip and it will definitely be a birthday that I will always remember!
I highly recommend doing this tour, you will not be disappointed!
Thank you so much Dan! 😊
We had a great time on our tour in China. The guides and drivers were very kind and professional, and the guides spoke excellent English. This was our first time using this agent, Jasmine was excellent to work with. She provided great communication and was very responsive to questions I asked. The whole tour was well organised. I would recommend both AOT and Jasmine to any one looking to book a tour through them.
Korea surprised us in the best way! Seoul was vibrant, the food was amazing (hello, Korean BBQ!), and the countryside was stunning. The trip was so well-planned!
Jovi did an outstanding job putting together our Itinerary for a 15-Day Trip to China, from which we have just returned.
From start to finish the guides, hotels and the scheduled activities went off smoothly.
We would like to recommend Linda Xu and Vivian Wang, the rep who arranged our trip, ifi you are looking for a company to arrange your trip to China.
This the third time we engaged Asia..this time we covered Yunan Province.
As before all our travel needs of hotels, transportations , tour guides etc..... were well arranged for us to cover our intended tour itineraries to our greatest satisfactions. .will surely recommend it to our friends and others.
The Xian mini group tour was amazing! My guide was Phoebe and she knows everything about Terracotta Warriors History and speaks a very good English! Also guided us to the best places to avoid the crowds. I strongly recommend the tour and the guide!
More than a simple trip, our fifteen days in Nepal and Tibet were an unforgettable experience and a wonderful discovery. A very big thank you goes to this local tour operator and its Managing Director, Mr. Kaum Bahadur Subedi, who provided us with expert drivers (absolutely essential on the roads of Nepal) and guides with great expertise and experience. I want to especially mention Rem Raj Gurung who introduced us to the wonderful temples of Kathmandu, now all restored after the 2015 earthquake. A very useful exercise for me also who had visited those temples in the past.
Even more exciting was traveling across the Tibetan plateau. We entered from the border with Nepal - which in itself is an adventure - and we traveled the long way that leads to Lasha, crossing a powerful and unforgettable landscape. Along the plateau we had the Himalayas on the right with its snowy peaks (we also went to admire the north face of Everest with a half-day detour) and on the left another long chain of mountains that outlined a landscape that is hard to find the words to describe.
And then the unforgettable discovery for me, thanks to the guide that Mr Kaum made available to us for Tibet, a profound expert on the religiosity of the Tibetans. The discovery of a people who still live in a deep connection with their past and traditions: in religion, in clothing, in language. But I also found a genuine willingness towards foreigners. And we were among the few Westerners to visit the country.
We also have a beautiful memory of Lasha, a modern city that lives with a past whose strength still seems very alive.
