It was a challenging trip with all the long driving days just to set up camp and pack up the next morning to do more driving. I guess I didn’t realize how draining it would actually be . I recommend this trip for anyone who seeks true adventure and wants an immersive experience, you're going to love this. I was very happy with our guide Barnabus, most pleasant and engaging. The Madagascar tour provided access to wonderful scenery and ample opportunities to connect to people. I won't sugarcoat it, there are a couple of challenging days with long bumpy rides but the destinations were always worth it. The days spent traveling by boat were fantastic. So glad I signed on for it and really enjoyed the small group I was traveling with.
