Great trip with very good leaders in Weston, Gift and Dean. Well organised and informative. It can be hard work breaking camp most mornings, often quite early starts, and then setting up each evening, often at sunset. Client participation essential to make it all work. Food simple yet sustaining with good variety. Surprised the vehicle was not airconditioned as at times very hot.

The national parks in Kenya and Tanzania are amazing. The access G gave us to these beautiful places and the animals that live there was incredible. A very unique experience and one that can only appreciated by taking the trip. Pictures and words don’t do it justice!

On this overland tour you have the opportunity to get up close to the amazing wildlife in the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, home to Wildebeest, Zebra, Gazelle, Giraffes, Elephants, Rhino and big cats - the opportunity to spot wildlife on offer is second to none. As well as sight-seeing, you can chill out on the beautiful white sandy beaches of Zanzibar and explore the history and culture of Stone Town.
Note: This is one of our Overland Adventures which are run using one of our specialist famous yellow overland expedition trucks. Trips are run on a participatory basis – you’ll be involved in the day to day running of the trip and have fun taking turns helping to shop and cook for the group. Expect to sometimes get dusty and dishevelled and not to be able to have hot showers every night. Groups of up to 24 people are led by our crew of two.

An exciting accommodated overland traverse through Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls), Botswana and Namibia. Travelling in a comfortable, custom-built expedition vehicle and staying in well-appointed accommodation with plenty of local charm, this journey offers an abundance of stunning scenery, unique wildlife and cultural encounters. The vastness of both Namibia and Botswana become apparent with wide open spaces far outnumbering people. A shorter version of our African Wildlife Explorer trip, this overland journey commences from Victoria Falls Zimbabwe. Be enchanted by a Chobe River sunset, and search for wildlife in the contrasting environments of the Okavango Delta and Etosha National Park. Ascend the highest sand dunes in the world at Sossusvlei; and enjoy cosmopolitan Swakopmund with its relaxed cafe culture and wide, tree-lined streets. The trip concludes in Windhoek Namibia.
