Hluhluwe Imfolozi Safari Tour - October 2025
Leave Durban at 6.30am from your Hotel, Guest House or B&B and drive through the Timber and Sugar plantations and the beautiful Zulu villages which lies in the northern Zululand.
We take you to the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve which lies 2.5 hours from Durban and is set in the heart of Zululand where Africa’s Big 5 (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhinoceros) roam the flourishing savannah. Established in 1895 this is the oldest park in South Africa and is 98,000 hectares.

Safari and Phezulu Cultural Village Day Tour - October 2025
On this tour we will visit a Lion Park, Birds of Prey Habilitation Centre, Tala Game Reserve for wildlife viewing, visit the cultural Phezulu Cultural (zulu) Village & finally pay a visit to a Reptile Park.
The Mini safari Tour starts at 7.30am where you will be picked up at your hotel in Durban or the Umhlanga area. We then proceed and visit the Lion Park, a breeding scheme for Lions in an enclosed area which we drive through with the windows and doors locked. Here you will have a chance to come into close proximity to Elephants and Lions.
Our next stop is The Birds Of Prey Rehabilitation Center where visitors are introduced to the wild variety of majestic birds. Here a local Guide will explain the lifestyle of the birds, reasons for why the birds are there and when the birds will be set out in the nature.

The tour departs from Durban heading northward along the coast to northern KwaZulu-Natal. The first stop is the town of St Lucia and the estuary inside the iSimangaliso Wetlands Park. There you will board a riverboat for a 2-hour guided tour of the estuary. The local guide will inform you of the reserves history and its incredible wildlife.
Previously known as the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park, iSimangaliso Wetlands Park was declared South Africa's first Natural World Heritage Site (UNESCO) and is considered South Africa's third largest park with 280km of near pristine coastline and 328 000 hectares of magnificent scenery. The protected area is home to one of the largest population of hippopotami in SA, an estimated 1000 crocodiles as well as a wealth of plant, bird and animal life. Tour to Sani Pass & Lesotho - October 2025
The tour leaves from Durban to the Sani Pass 6.30am in the morning. It is a 3.5 hours journey to Sani Pass and along the way we will make the following stops:
- Pietermaritzburg the capital of KwaZulu Natal where we visit some Mahatma Gandhi statues.
- Scenery stop along the way
- Visit the Holy Trinity Church, and also visit RDP (Rural Development Plan Housing) Mr Mandela's dream for the under privileged people of South Africans.
The Sani Pass is a 33km gravel road that straddles the sheer cliffs of the Drakensberg escarpment in a series of tight Zig Zag curves. The route begins at the Sani Pass Hotel which is 1566m above sea level. You will be traveling in a Land Rover 4x4 upwards along the narrow road crossing the South African/ Lesotho border post which is 1968m above sea level. Along the way up the South African landscape KwaZulu Natal opens up in front of you displaying spectacular views of rolling hills and vast skies. We visit the local village and interact with the local and also taste their delicious home made bread. If the weather is good we reach the black mountains the highest point in Lesotho at an altitude of 3200 meters.
You can enjoy a delicious lunch at the Highest Pub in Africa at your own account which sits 2873m above sea level.
At around 3.30 pm we start to drive back to Durban where we will be returning around 7 pm. The trip is around 12 to 13 hours, but it is all worth it. We invite you to join us on this exciting day excursion.

Oribi Gorge and Eland Reserve Tour - October 2025

DumaZulu Cultural Village is located near the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve in the heart of Zululand. Translated to “Thundering Zulu,” DumaZulu is South Africa’s largest Zulu cultural village with over 50 Zulu locals who living and working in the area.
The village depicts Zulu culture before modernization and is considered a living museum. The village is laid out in the tradition Zulu design of beehive huts arranged in a circle around a cattle kraal. You’ll be welcomed to the village by a local DumaZulu tour guide who’ll explain and share interesting traditions and customs of the Zulu people.
You can observe the traditional basket-weaving, spear- and shield-making techniques from the locals as well as watch traditional bone-throwing and Zulu dancing and singing performances.

The consultation lasts about 45 minutes where he will use traditional methods like throwing the bones to connect with your ancestors and convey the information he receives.
The tour also travels to the Valley of 1000 Hills. Home of PheZulu Cultural and Safari Park. Visitors are taken into traditional beehive shaped thatched huts, where the various artefacts, beliefs and rituals of the Zulu people are explained, giving visitors an insight into the fascinating Zulu culture.
