From there you will visit Kilkenny, strolling around the lovely town, and see the Rock of Cashel. Explore Cork, Ireland’s second-largest city, and visit Kinsale, a scenic seaside town. Travel to Killarney, where you will see the beautiful lake. Discover Adare, a small village with picturesque traditional thatched roof cottages, and take the opportunity to visit the castle in Limerick. The idyllic settings of the Lake District, Dingle Peninsula and the Cotswolds give way to vibrant capitals and the little-known train station with the world’s longest name.
This was a fun trip, but it was very fast-paced. It gave a great overview of all that the UK and Ireland have to offer, but there wasn’t enough time to see very much of it in depth. It’s perfect for helping you pick out the places you want to see again in more detail. It involves a fair amount of riding around on the coach, but the route is consistently planned with carefully spaced “comfort” breaks. Some of the stops in small towns were given too much time, when there wasn’t much to do or see, and some of the stops could have been longer, when there was a lot to see or do. Our Tour Director was excellent, and so was our driver. Most of the hotels were very nice, with a few that were just OK. The included group dinners weren’t very exciting, but they were reasonable and tasty.

I was victim of a pickpocket in Dublin, first day of trip and lost everything including passport

As I write this I am in Seattle awaiting a regular passport….a six hour process and a 5 hour drive from my home in Portland.
Enjoyed this trip and all the optional choices. Weather couldn't have been better. Food was good. Free time and tour experiences were nicely balanced.
Tour Guide and Bus Driver was great. I was traveling solo and felt safe.
The one thing that could have gone better, was accommodations. The Leonardo Hotel in Cardiff and Liverpool was not a good experience. The room was not clean, carpet, window treatments and furniture was old and in bad repair.
