Absolutely amazing is all I can say. The hike was definitely one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but it was so worth it. The 21 day adventure exceeded my expectations. It provided a wonderful introduction to the history and diversity of Peru’s culture. The hike to Machu Picchu was, in places, challenging but imminently doable. The tour leaders were knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and interesting people.
