Overall a great trip with a phenomenal CEO in JC however the Puno portion of the trip and the kayaking left a bad taste in the mouth. It very much felt that we were being shipped to different locations just to give people money for things we didn?t want and the kayaking itself was just an hour and a half of straight paddling from one island to another. I would recommend avoiding Puno if possible.

This was the best tour that we have ever done before. We can highly recommend the experience to: the best of Machu Picchu, Cusco and Amazon in seven days. This one-day, group tour takes you to one of the most beautiful water bodies in the Cusco region. Your day starts early as we pick you up from your hotel at 4:10 am to start this amazing adventure. Drive out of the city to Mollepata, which takes around two hours. This is also where your breakfast and lunch are scheduled today.
Resume the journey after breakfast in Mollepata. It takes one more hour to reach Soraypampa. A short break in Soraypampa is followed by a two-hour ascent on foot. Your hike comes to an end high up in the Peruvian Alps, where melting glaciers feed into a glistening, turquoise body of water perched atop a hill.
You have approximately 40 minutes to enjoy the beauty of the majestic Humantay Lake, located 4,200 m above sea level, before we start our journey back to Cusco. The drop-off will be arranged at Cusco city centre (San Francisco Square) between 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm unless you have booked this trip as a private tour, in which case we will drop you off at the hotel.

Travel to Machu Picchu. Take the Vistadome train and enjoy beautiful sceneries on the way. Explore the ruins of this famous Inca citadel, first with your guide and then on your own, before returning to Cusco. Take a tour of Cusco and visit the highlights of this city including the Inca ceremonial site of Sacsayhuaman; Qenqo, which houses subterranean passages and a mummification site; Tambomachay, a temple dedicated to the God of Water; as well as the Cathedral of Cusco.
