Cusco had colonial charm and a sense of sacredness in every stone. Machu Picchu was, of course, the crown jewel. But what surprised me most? The way the guide told its story, not just facts, but legends, perspectives, reverence. This trip didn’t feel curated to be “easy.” It was immersive. Real. A little demanding at times but that’s what made it stick. These guys handled everything greatly. I came home with stories I actually want to tell not just photos to post.

This was my first time in South America, and honestly, this tour was everything I hoped it would be and more. I was a bit nervous doing it solo but the small group setup made it super easy to meet people. The itinerary was well-balanced between structured tours and free time. Cartagena was absolutely beautiful like stepping into a painting. The Coffee Triangle was a surprising.. got to try some of the freshest coffee I’ve ever had. Bogota cooler, more urban. The views from Monserrate were incredible. Then we flew to Peru, and Machu Picchu... I still don’t have words. It was emotional. The guides were amazing and knew so much history. Lake Titicaca was peaceful and surreal. Would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who loves a mix of nature, history, and culture. Take altitude sickness seriously, though — drink the coca tea!

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at around 3:30 am in the morning and drive you through the South Valley. The drive to the trailhead takes around three hours long. We will also provide you with breakfast along the way. Set off on the hike following a lovely stream. Herds of alpacas and llamas will surprise you along the way. In case you are lucky, you might also come across chinchillas and vicunas. Enjoy views of Ausangate Mountain as you hike through villages and interact with the local residents.
