Very happy, the tour was mostly as expected, travel was mostly smooth and we got to see and do lots of things in a month which was amazing. One thing I would rate low is the booking experience, website was down, multiple people I spoke to were completely lost (one was very helpful and she’s probably the reason I booked because I was about to give up) the itinerary disappeared afterwards and when I contacted you I spoke to another completely lost person who was massively unhelpful. no one thought to give me heads up that i need to provide evidence of onward travel for Peru and I almost didn’t make my plane, etc. overall I would say your guides on the tours are very organized compared to the people doing the bookings and providing support and you should definitely work on that.

This one-day, group tour takes you to one of the most beautiful water bodies in the Cusco region. Your day starts early as we pick you up from your hotel at 4:10 am to start this amazing adventure. Drive out of the city to Mollepata, which takes around two hours. This is also where your breakfast and lunch are scheduled today. Resume the journey after breakfast in Mollepata. It takes one more hour to reach Soraypampa. A short break in Soraypampa is followed by a two-hour ascent on foot. Your hike comes to an end high up in the Peruvian Alps, where melting glaciers feed into a glistening, turquoise body of water perched atop a hill. You have approximately 40 minutes to enjoy the beauty of the majestic Humantay Lake, located 4,200 m above sea level, before we start our journey back to Cusco. After an early morning departure from Cusco, we will drive to the town of Soraypampa and begin our trek to Humantay Lake, located at 4,300 meters. We will then make our way back down the mountain for a gourmet box lunch prior to our departure from this serene landscape. After lunch, we will drive back through the Andes to Quillarumiyoc, an archaeological site where the Incans made ceremonies to worship the moon. The literal translation of the name means “the place of the moon rock”. The site itself showplaces waterways, terraces, petroglyphs and a huge rock with a semicircular cut in the shape of a crescent moon. Quillarumiyoc is a little-known site seldom frequented by tourists but is an incredibly interesting site to view.
