A quick descent will then take you to the town of Maras. Have your box lunch and continue to Salineras de Maras, a wonderful place with more than 3000 salt pits. These pits are said to have been in use since pre-Incan days to harvest salt. Travel back to Cusco after your second guided tour of the day, arriving in the city at around 6:00 pm.
