The river cruise was excellent and we enjoyed it greatly.
That said, for a group of seniors some of the walking was difficult. Everyone managed but up hills was hard in some.
The other issue on this trip was the lack of time for retail therapy. Either there wasn’t any time or it was brief. Our group always loves a few souvenirs but we just didn’t have time in some places.
We had a walking tour of Cologne but only 15 minutes for the Cathedral. It wasn’t anywhere near enough time. If I’d realized we continue walking but end up back at the Cathedral, I would have just stayed there. That was my biggest disappointment. As well as being in Strosbourg in a Sunday but unable to visit the Cathedrral at all. The line to get in was incredibly long and we didn’t have enough time to wait.
Both of these issues were very disappointing for me as I’d looked forward to seeing both.
Aside from those 2 major issues, it was great! Food was excellent and staff was as well. Marcus Graff is wonderful!
