The tour operator was amazing. I fell in love with New Zealand. Simon was great guide and the small tour group made it even better as we all became close friends. The itinerary covered all important things to see and experience. Accommodations are well placed for city life, night life, botanical gardens, parks and close to all the amenities. Day tours are arranged to discover nature wonders, beautiful countryside, famous landmarks. The trip wound up with relaxing warm beautiful beaches in Fiji.

From cruising through Milford Sound to soaking in Lake Tekapo, every day felt like stepping into a postcard. Our trip leader was energetic, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate, always going the extra mile to make sure everyone was having the best possible experience. The itinerary was perfectly paced and the included experiences were excellent value.
The group vibe was awesome too, fun, friendly, and full of people ready to make memories. By the end of the trip, it felt like we’d all shared something pretty special together.
I can’t recommend the Topdeck South Island adventure enough. I’d go again in a heartbeat!

My wife and I have been on several trips with the Trafalgar group (AAT Kings / Insight / Trafalgar). We have not had a bad experience yet. The travel directors were like personal concierges to us. Our travel directors, Tony and Marty, were fantastic people. Funny, professional and helpful. Bus drivers were excellent, optional experiences were great. We look forward to going on future tours with the Trafalgar group.
