This was an amazing tour! There were so many optional things to do, so if I wanted to keep busy and active I could. And if I wanted to relax or do my own thing, I could do that as well. I highly recommend coming to Antigua early for an extra day or two, and staying a day or two in Playa del Carmen to visit Chichen Itza!

We need a word to describe this trip: When you have expectations, images, and ideas. Yet they all prove to be pathetic, for the reality is much fuller--full of casual sloths, jumping off of waterfalls, picking cacao fruits in someone's backyard, practicing Spanish with locals, spying on a tapir through binoculars at Corcovado National Park.
