Long bus journey but worth it. Major sights visited in Istanbul city. Gallipolli and Troy well worth visit,very interesting,hard to imagine human cost of war.Trenches still visable. Lots of archaeology at Troy and replica of wooden horse to go in. Good photo opportunities. Ephesus with ancient streets,roman toilets,columns,mosaics and carving of menorah. This tour was fabulous. All the places we visited were special in their own way. Some long days of driving but completely understandable as we travelled from one end of the country to the other. Our tour guide Torun was incredible not only with his amazing knowledge of all the sites we visited but with the warmth of his welcome to his country, his willingness to answer any questions put to him, the stories he shared with us, the food he recommended and the way he ensured that every person was extremely well looked after. Our driver Jen was a careful and confident driver who ensured we were safe on the roads. All in all a wonderful experience.
