Day Tour Dendara and Abydos Temples from Luxor
At 7:00 am you are picked-up from your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor by our guide and transferred to Abydos city by private A/C vehicle.
Abydos city is about 420 km to the south of Cairo in Sohag Government, and 135 km from Luxor. We drive north from Luxor for a day to see two of the most complete temples in Egypt.
We arrive in Abydos and start the day tour discovering the ancient sites. First we visit the Abydos Temple, dedicated to the Ancient Egyptian god of the underworld. The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt.
Then we continue to visit the Temple of Hathor - goddess of love and joy. The temple is located in Dendara, which is 135 km north of Luxor.
Temple of Hathor at Dendara may be the best preserved in Egypt with full color still visible on its walls. The ancient Egyptians believed that the Lord of the underworld is buried there. The temple was built by King Seti I, and completed by King Ramsess II, known as temple of Seti I.
At the end of the Tour around 17:00 pm transfer back to the hotel in Luxor .
Al Tannoura Egyptian heritage show at Wekalet El Ghoury
The performance of Al Tannoura Egyptian Heritage Dance Troupe at Wekalet El Ghoury starts At 18:00 pm.
We pick you up from your hotel by our representative and transfer you to The Al-Tannoura show that takes place at Wekalet El Ghoury every Saturday, Monday and Wednesday.
Wekalet El Ghouri is an architecturally stunning arts center in El Azhar area in Central Cairo, operating under the Ministry of Culture and the Cultural Development Fund (CDF).
Since finalizing restorations to the Wekalet in October 2005, it has become a hot-spot for organizing cultural events. The most popular being the bi-weekly El Tannoura dance performance.
The performance is similar to the more commonly known whirling dervishes; however this version of the indigenous dance incorporates instruments and other additional elements.
After the show is finished we transfer you back to your hotel.
Available only on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays.

Our half day tour to Giza Pyramids by Camel starts with pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Then you will be transferred to Giza Pyramids in a private limousine or van.
Upon your arrival to Giza Pyramids, you get on the camel and start your tour to Giza Pyramids and get back to the ancient history. You will be accompanied by an expert tour guide who will explain all historical points related to Giza Pyramids and sites around.
Unlike most camel tours in Egypt you will have a very unique entrance to the desert that does not require you to travel through the busy streets full of cars and crowded with people.
Instead you will experience the pure untouched desert. You will see The Great Pyramids of Giza,The Sphinx and the Valley Temple. This tour gives you a different feel when visiting Giza Pyramids, you feel like you are taking a time machine that is taking you hundreds of years back.
All camels we deal with are kept in good condition and are very well looked after and you will be accompanied by a cameler who will stay the whole trip near you to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable trip.
Our camels spend years in training and will cater to all experience levels, also beginners and first-timers.
