The Spirit of Laox trip was excellent, great value for what was included. We especially liked the trip on the Mekong River, it was a lovely restful day inbetween alll the other full on days. We liked the amount of activities and trips provided by Explore and all were interesting and enjoyable . Would I recommend this particular adventure to a friend, in a word no. However I would caveat this with I had a great time and I would definitely recommend G adventures as a tour group and these three countries are definitely worth visiting. It's only a couple of small points that need 'ironing out' which is understandable considering the relatively new itinerary that has been created. Our CEO minty ensured a smooth tour and I suspect that another tour guide would have handled the issues not as effectively. Thank you, G Adventures, for a wonderful once in a lifetime experience.

My food restrictions were a challenge, but Andy would stay to help explain to waiters for me. We loved the random stops on the road, to visit local food huts markets. I really enjoyed the bicycle ride to the temple ruin and through the park. The elephants were super fun and cute - a very authentic experience.
