Annapurna Circuit also known as Around Annapurna trekking is one of the popular and the most beautiful trekking routes in the Annapurna region. Annapurna south (7219m), Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m),Mt. Manaslu (8163), Mt. Nilgiri (7041m), Mt. Fishtail also called Machhapuchhare (6998m) , Mt. Hiunchuli (6441m), Mt. Annapurna Circuit Trekking begins from Ngadi or Jagat, some six hours drive from Kathmandu and then the trail takes to Dharapani, Chame and making a circuit to Pisang or Manang (3540 m) peak, along the route visitors will have scenic views of Annapurna II (7937m), III (7555m), IV (7525m), and Gangapurna (7455m) and making excursion to the area, return back to Manang village, the trail heads up to ledar (4030m), Thorong Phedi via thorong Pass (5416m), reaches to Muktinath (3800 m) Kagbeni (3100m) and finally at Jomsom (2770m) and fly back to Pokhara and subsequently to Kathmandu.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on this tour! The scenery throughout was incredible, and it was a great contrast to time spent in India’s North visiting the Golden Triangle. Walking in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, a tour of a spice farm, and time on the houseboat in the backwaters were particular highlights. Pacing of the trip was good, with multiple nights in some of the towns, in between longer drives.
Our driver, Noufel, had a good grasp of English, and was very helpful. The tour company and their staff were also very communicative via WhatsApp, and checked in throughout to ensure everything was going well. Our hotels were comfortable and served good food. Most had AC (though it wasn’t really needed in Munnar due to the altitude).
Visiting in Summer, there wasn’t so much wildlife, but the scenery everywhere was still amazing!

An unbelievably great experience traveling in Vietnam. We were met at the airport by their english speaking guide. Over the next two weeks we had a great visit. Travel was by bus, ship and airplane around the country. The bus drivers were great. Guides were personable and knew the area. We had multiple included meals and they all were great. We saw Vietnam from Hanoi to the Mekong Delta. Overall a trip of a lifetime.
