I had the pleasure of having Meg as our tour guide during our trip to Japan, and she truly made the experience unforgettable. Megs knowledge of Japans history, culture, and hidden gems was remarkable. She brought each location to life with engaging stories and insights that you wouldnt find in any guidebook. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she went out of her way to ensure everyone in the group was comfortable and had a great time. Whether it was helping us navigate the busy streets of Tokyo or guiding us through the temples of Kyoto, Meg was always attentive and patient. If youre looking for a tour guide in Japan who is knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, I highly recommend Meg.
The tour overall was brilliant and I enjoyed all of it. It's my first time travelling with just friends and this tour helped me connect with them and also build new connections with people from different parts of the world. Loved the vibe and would definitely recommend the tour.

Vietnam with intro was such an incredible experience thanks to our fantastic leader Michelle! Honourable mention to Jas and Tim as leaders-in-training who will be amazing. The whole trip was so enjoyable and engaging, and I genuinely cant remember the last time I had that much fun. Michelle was amazing in any scenario thrown her way, and nothing was ever too big of an issue to solve! I consistently felt so safe and reassured with the team. From cultural experiences of war tunnels and walking tours to incredible boat rides and fun nights out this has been one of the best holidays of my life. I would absolutely recommend to anyone solo travelling because you will meet such amazing people along the way. I wish I could do it all over again!
Just completed my 3rd intro tour and already booked my 4th for next year! Just finished the Vietnam intro and had the absolute best time. Very well organised by our amazing tour leader Annelise who was just the best!! Would recommend intro to anyone. I work full time and these trips allow me to experience travel with so many amazing experiences!
Gogi, Fluke and Eve were great your guides for the full moon party experience. They handled everything and were able to sort out transport for us easily after the tour was over.
Gemma Woods as our leader made this trip one of a lifetime. Im incredibly satisfied and happy about how the things were organized for the trip: destinations, accommodations, food, transportation, etc. Gemma helped us connect as a group and this made my experience more comfortable. There was always fun, respect, and joy. Thank you Intro for having such a professional and amazing person in charge of this adventure!

18:00: Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel’s lobby and we will start walking around the narrow and crowded streets of the Old Quarter and discover nightlife in the bustling city.
We will first try a bowl of “Pho” - the most well-known beef noodle soup in Vietnam. Either way, you can choose to taste a typical specialty in the South of Vietnam named “Bun Bo Nam Bo”. Then we will drop in a local beer store on the street to enjoy the night atmosphere.
You will have a chance to sit at small chairs and drink “Bia Hoi” - a special kind of draught beer only available in Vietnam - in a big glass like a local. Enjoy it well with the delicious “Nem chua ran” - a kind of Vietnamese pork sausage; and peanut. Here you can also learn how to say “cheers” in Vietnamese style.
Afterwards, enjoy a few minutes walk to get to some bars or pubs nearby inside the busiest corner of Hanoi Old Quarter. We will provide you a list of nice pubs and bars so it will be easier for you to choose out of your favorite: either dynamic discotheques where you can shake your body with loud music and enjoy some alcoholic drinks; or the quieter pubs to have space to chat with your guide deeply about the local life here and make friends with others expats (Drinks are exclusive in the program).
22:00: Get back to your hotel to relax.
You will meet the tour guide at your hotel at around 7 PM and then sit on the backseat of a motorbike and start riding to the vibrant Old Quarter section of town.
Immerse yourself in the incredible lights and sounds of the night as you enjoy stunning street food from the local vendors in less-touristy places of the city and favored by locals.
You continue your trip to the gorgeous park of West Lake where you can see locals gather for an evening stroll and go on with their evening activities.
After that, you will move on to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where you can admire the solemn moment of the flag-lowering ceremony in Ba Dinh Square.
You can finish off your night with one of the following options:
– Enjoy a cocktail at a bar and watch the life passing by (at your own arrangement and expense).
– Finish your exciting evening at a music venue and enjoy at your own leisure
– Hop back on the motorbike to be returned to your hotel.
The trip ends at 10 pm.
Our guide and Vespa driver will pick you up at your hotel and we'll start the ride from the new city to the old city. We pass Truong Tien Bridge and Dong Ba Market.
Discover the old city when we ride Vespa deep into Hue Citadel, glimpse charming streets and trading activities. You'll also see the back of the citadel before riding out to the greenery garden houses. Follow the small rural roads before we stop at Thien Mu boat landing for a break and sunset photo opportunity.
Riding west, we come to Vong Canh Hill, providing a wonderful view of mountains and Perfume River. On the top of the hill, contemplate the landscape while drinking champagne, local beer and soft drinks.
Ride back to your hotel.
