The Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake ranks among the most illustrious treks you can take in Nepal. It promises adventure, sights, and culture.
In this 15-dat journey, you will get a rare perspective of Annapurna (8,097 m), Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Manaslu (8,163 m), Machhapuchhre (6,993 m) and Tukuche (6,920), among many other peaks. Cycle from Guangzhou through stunning rural countryside and the limestone pinnacles of Yangshuo, visit the Terracotta Warriors and historical sights of Beijing. On this trip you go as a traveller, only to find that you become the main attraction, as local people are delighted to see that we travel as they do - on bicycles. We jostle for room with lumbering buffaloes, friendly farmers and of course local cyclists while at other times we cycle for long periods in complete serenity on country roads. Our cycling pace is relaxed with time to stop in villages or any other sites of interest. A mini bus accompanies us to carry our gear and provides a welcome break when you have had enough cycling for the day. Following our cycle ride we have ample time to appreciate the rich culture and history of Xian (with its thousands of terracotta warriors) and Beijing (including a remote section of the Great Wall) to provide an incomparable panorama of rural, ancient and modern China. This trek is one of the most popular choices among trekkers. It covers not only Everest Base Camp but also Lukla, Namche Bazar, and Tengboche. The highlights of this expedition are Everest Base Camp (5364 m), Kala Patthar (5545 m), and Gokyo Lakes (4,700 m-5,000 m).
Our trek will begin from the mountain town of Lukla, a 30-minute flight from Kathmandu. Our goal is to trek for up to six hours a day. Since we will be trekking in the high altitude area, we have set aside one day in the itinerary for acclimatization.
We will be trekking on the trails near waterfalls, un-spoilt Buddhist monasteries, and through the enchanting Sherpa villages. Once we have reached the Everest Base Camp, we will also trek to Kala Patthar, which is a great vantage point for magnificent views of the southwest face of Mount Everest and other surrounding mountains such as Nuptse and Lhotse.We will visit Gokyo Lake during our return journey from the base camp.

Your journey begins in Leh at 3,500m (11,483ft), where we explore the ancient monasteries of Shey, Tikse, and Matho, gaining insight into Ladakh’s deep-rooted Buddhist traditions. From here, we drive over the Khardung La at 5,602m (18,379ft), the highest motorable road in the world, into the stunning Nubra Valley, where we visit Diskit Monastery before beginning our trek.
Over six days, we follow ancient trails through summer settlements and remote side valleys, encountering traditional ways of life while gradually ascending to the base of the Lasermo La. The highlight of the trek is the exhilarating crossing of Lasermo La Pass at 5,440m (17,847ft), offering spectacular views of the East Karakoram and the Stok Range. Descending into the Indus Valley, we reach Phyang, where we experience the vibrant two-day masked festival at Phyang Monastery, a true celebration of Ladakh’s living Buddhist culture.
