This tour hit all the right notes for us. We wanted something that showed us different parts of Thailand without being too intense or expensive. The days were full but never overwhelming. We saw big landmarks like the Grand Palace and White Temple but also had time for small experiences, like sipping coffee at a local cafe in Chiang Mai or watching the sunset from the beach in Phuket.
The flights between cities made travel easy and we were always met on time. Having a guide in each place helped us understand the history and customs better and they answered every question we had.
We’re not “tour people,” usually, but this one made things simple. It was structured but with enough flexibility. If you’re thinking about Thailand and want a little adventure without the stress of planning I’d definitely recommend this tour.

This "10 Days Comfort Everest Base Camp Tours with Heli Return" is perfect for people who wish for both adventure and luxury on their trek to the foothill of the world's highest peak.
The luxury part of the trip comes once you have completed your trek all the way to the base camp. On day nine, take a helicopter trip up to Kala Patthar, arguably the best spot to see Mount Everest. Spend some time admiring the view of Everest and other surrounding mountains, before taking the helicopter ride all the way to Lukla, the starting point of your trek. Nothing compares to the stunning views of the Everest region from a helicopter.
The day three and six of this trip have been set aside for acclimatization, since we are talking about trekking in high altitude region. The trek begins in Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region, and along the way, you will make stops at places like Namche Bazaar, Tyangboche and Dingboche. I recently retired and this was my first big “freedom trip.” I wasn’t looking for luxury. I just wanted something different from the usual cruise trips I took or all-inclusive. India and Dubai? I was totally out of my comfort zone, which made it incredible. Watching the chaos of Delhi traffic from the safety of our coach, standing in front of the Taj Mahal or riding through the desert dunes outside Dubai, it all felt great. The tour gave me structure but didn’t feel hand holding. The guide had patience for all our questions. This trip reminded me that you’re never too old to feel amazed.
Pikey Peak is situated in the lower reaches of Solukhumbu district, at an altitude of 4,070 meters. Although not as popular as Everest Base Camp, this peak is a great option for those that want to enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas without having to face the challenges of traversing high-altitude areas.
On this guided tour, you will leave Kathmandu for Bamti Bhandar. From there, you will follow the trail to Pikey Base Camp that takes you through Namkheli and Golla. Along the way, get a chance to experience the cultures and traditions of different ethnic groups like Sherpa, Chhetri, Tamang and Gurung. Take in the grand view of mountain peaks like Dhaulagiri, Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Ama Dablam, Lhotse and Nuptse on reaching the top of Pikey Peak at sunrise before heading down the same track.
