The experience of seeing so many animals in their natural habitat exceeded our expectations and waking up to the sound & smells of the zebras & wildebeest at our campsite with girafe in the distance was unexpected and surreal - will never forget it!
This was a life-transforming experience for us. To see wildlife in such abundance and in such natural conditions is extraordinary. We were shocked and delighted by the way most of the wildlife were ignorant to our jeep and our presence allowing us to get so close. We also learned so much about the local cultures and ways of life of the various tribes for which were all too ignorant prior to our trip. The trip afforded us the opportunity to make acquaintances with some of the locals which we enjoyed. Also, we are proud to participate in some small way in activities like G-sponsored clean stove project and Ubuntu Life and seeing how they transform lives.

Our trip to Tanzania was well curated by this company. From our first chats with Joan, we felt comfortable to proceed with booking with this company. Booking with local company makes us feel the great contribution to the local economy. Our guide was very helpful and informative, he did everything he could to make us comfortable and informed. The safari camp, Suenos was best and in the center of wilderness, with greater views of wildlife. It was amazing to here the sound of animals at mid-night and we will never forget this experience. One thing of note is flexibility the company have on planing of our trip. We will get back to this company again and again when we travel to Tanzania again. I just came back from a wonderful trip in Tanzania. I booked my safari with local tour operator and I am so happy I did! They provided great service from beginning to end. Our guide Sammy was extremely professional and helpful throughout the day. His knowledge of the animals and nature just blew my mind. Estimates are that 8 000 wildebeest are born a day – that is 300 every hour, While lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and wild dog certainly eat their fill of these gangling baby gnus, the synchronized calving is an effective survival mechanism for the species: there is simply too much food for the predators to consume.
"Planning this Kilimanjaro trip was hardest task of my life, from the choice of operator, to the preparation of all group equipments. As a student, the hesitation and uncertainty of traveling to Africa took me sometime. It was great that my friend recommended this tour company to our group, and from the first email, everything went smooth with a lot of advise on how to prepare from the company’s experts. We felt safe from the time we landed at the airport, the smiling faces from the team and comfortable talk from the guide, Faza, was the inspiration beyond our summit success. Spend the day in Tarangire National Park, the famous park where Earnest Hemmingway often went on big game hunting safaris. Thankfully, today cameras have replaced the big hunting guns, and you can enjoy the seasonal marshes, endless savannah and beauty of the African wildlife without spoiling it.
The Tarangire National Park has the highest density of elephants in North Tanzania and you can view these animals all year round. The herds often reach an impressive number of 300 animals.
The Tarangire River in the park has water all year round and during the dry season, between July and October, many animals from the surrounding areas come to the river to drink. If you visit the park during the dry season, you will witness an unforgettable natural wonder as you can observe wonderful creatures such as lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests and zebras as well as various types of antelopes and gazelles. With a little luck, you can also spot a python! This area is during the dry season also a haven for bird watchers with over 550 different species including the Masai Ostrich -the world largest bird.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha drive the 2-3 hours to the park before we start the safari. Enjoy the morning spotting animals and taking in the scenery. Around lunchtime, we will stop at a suitable picnic place before dedicating the afternoon to more wildlife watching. Before sunset, you will be taken back to your hotel in Arusha.
My G adventure experience was everything I had hoped for. A great group of traveller's 11 and then 12 but spread between 2 vechicles which meant small group travelling. Staff met our personal needs in a professional knowledgeable manner, which meant we got up close and personal with many animals. Food was varied, birthdays were celebrated, fun was had.
Beyond my wildest dreams.. I'd highly recommend G adventures and I loved that local projects were supported by the team. Staff were happy and felt well supported by their company.

This 8 Days Tarangire, Lake Eyasi, Serengeti, Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater Safari Tour will take you through the Northern Safari Circuit in Tanzania. Primarily, you will be visiting Tarangire National Park, Lake Eyasi region, Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.
A visit to the Ngorongoro Crater is an experience of a lifetime. There are few places that have wildlife densities and variety at this level. It is not unusual to see the Big Five in one day-and all this in the most amazing setting with a backdrop of the 600m/1968ft high crater wall.
Lake Manyara National Park provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large waterbirds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks.
There is more to Serengeti than large mammals. Gaudy agama lizards and rock hyraxes scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite koppies. A full 100 varieties of dung beetle have been recorded, as have 500-plus bird species, ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland, to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills.

Friendly and prompt communication with Steve, flexibility and willingness to meet our needs and kind of gut feeling ;)
Booking process was very easy and at the end we put a trust in Steve and sent 75% of the payment - we were travelling to Zanzibar before and we did not want to carry that much cash.
My 2 friends and I, we went for 9 days safari with following itinerary: Tanzania starting in Arusha - Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara with walk, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Empakai Crater, Kenya - Amboseli with walk. We had amazing guides, I could not wish for better company, we had a lot of fun and I learnt so much about animal, Masai culture and life of African people. In Tanzania our guide was Godlove Goodluck and in Kenya - Onesmus. We had also cook named Alifa - cooking is really his passion and food was tasty. Much better than in any African restaurant we had been :D
Everything was organized and yeah, sure, things did go sideway, as our car got broken, but what I appreciate is how the things were handled and what Steve did to make sure our trip is untouched (new car was sent, meantime rescue car camet to not lose any game drive etc). And to make it up Steve made us amazing surprise. We were flying out of Nairobi at 6 am so he arranged for us home stay at lovely Kenyan family. We had wonderful last night in Africa with his friends. We could not wish for more. Ah, one more great surprise from Steve! We had budget safari with basic accommodation to keep cost as lower as possible, and is like Steve would know us better, he booked for our last 2 nights amazing lodge with swimming pool and view on Kilimanjaro. After diving and 9 days in the car on bumpy roads this was like a dream!
