The Marangu route is easily the most popular way of climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. Not only is Marangu the least expensive option, it is also shorter as it makes it possible to climb to the summit sooner.
The Marangu route is a classic trek to the top of Kilimanjaro. However, it has the least scenic variety of all routes (ascent and descent are done on the same path) and is the most crowded for that reason. It is the only route which offers sleeping huts in dormitory style accommodations. There are 60 bunk beds each at Mandara and Kibo Huts, and 120 bunk beds at Horombo Hut.
Many favor the Marangu route because it is considered to be the easiest path on the mountain, given its gradual slope and direct path. Known as the "Coca-Cola" route, it approaches Kilimanjaro from the southeast. It is the oldest, most well-established route.
The minimum days required for this route is five, although the probability of successfully reaching the top in that time period is quite low. Spending an extra acclimatization day on the mountain is highly recommended.
My husband and I recently returned from a eight days safari in Tanzania, the wildlife was really exciting. We saw many animals in the nature. This was one of the best experiences we ever had. I and my fiancée had an unforgettable experience in Africa. From the moment we arrived in Tanzania, we ware captivated by the stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and the sheer sense of adventure that surrounded me.
The safari lodge we stayed at was absolutely incredible, snuggled in the heart of the Serengeti National Park, it offered luxurious accommodations while still allowing us to feel connected to nature. The staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
Our game drives were the highlight of the safari. Led by knowledgeable and passionate guide named Regan, we were able to see an incredible array of animals in their natural habitat. We have just returned from our unforgettable Adventure which was organized by this tour operator. Each day of our safari was amazing, We had a brilliant guide who knows where and when to see the best animals on action and he even speaks a very fluent English and he took care of us from the day one to the last day of our safari.
During the safari you will spend a lot of time with your guide so it’s very important to have a guide to explain to you, make jokes and tell you more of his country, Culture and history and we were very like to have Herman as our guide.
The meals was amazing and we got served hot lunches on lunchtime and our jeep was filled with plenty of Water, Wines, Beer and Soda, we saw lot of other tourists having their cold packed food.
Through Herman we learnt a lot about Animals, Cultures, He never rushed and allowed us to take many beautiful pictures as much as we wanted. We saw all the Big Five and the rest of other wild animals like antelopes, giraffes and birds.
The roads are not good so prepare yourselves for a free African Massage as Daudi the Manager told us during the briefing.
Also trust their selection of lodges and am sure you will never regret, Daudi suggested to us Ngorongoro Serena, Intimate Camp, Mara Luxury Lodge and Four seasons. Those lodges are expensive but unlike others the tour company prepared a proposal with reasonable price while other International agencies charged us more and more.

This 5 days safari will start our from Arusha and display some of Tanzania's best safaris, that will take place in a 4x4 wheeled vehicle with pop-up roof. On the first day of this safari you and your fellow travellers will visit Lake Manyara at the first day where you will see tree-climbing lions regularly climbing into the acacia canopy, probably to run away the concentration of biting insects. Lake Manyara is also home to large herds of buffalo, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, elephants and hippo pools. The Lake Manyara National Park also attracts water birds such as herons, storks, kingfishers and the iconic fish eagle. The National park is home to Tanzania's birdlife, with 400-plus species recorded, counting 50 birds of prey, raucous forest hornbills, pink-hued flamingos and flotillas of pelicans etc.
The following day our professional driver guide takes you through Serengeti National Park which will give you the chance to experience the BIG five (5) and other animal like elephants, giraffes, dik diks, zebras, gazelles, impalas, hartebeests, topis, buffalos, and waterbucks. Furthermore, we guestimate that you will see about 500 bird species, including ostrich, secretary bird, Kori bustard, crowned crane, marabou stork, martial eagle, lovebirds, and many species of vultures.

The first day we went to Tarangire and saw many elefants, giraffes, lions, monkeys etc. It was a fun and interesting start of our adventure. The next day we passed Ngorongoro and went to Serengeti. Beside other animals, we saw leopards and buffalos! It was amazing. We also had buffalos around our camp during the night so that was pretty awesome. The last day we saw rhino in the crater! We saw all of the Big 5! Great experience, worth the money and I would definitely recomend it to anyone. We stoped at masai village (Longoko) for an entrance fee of 50$ per car and it was interesting as well.
