This tour was a great way to see remains of Peru of the past and present. The tour guide fostrr a group atmosphere with group dinners and Machu Zpicchu and New Years Eve celebration were definitely the highlights of the tour and Jossuf fostered a feeling that everyone was an integral part of the tour. Simply the best trip I have ever been on. I did not want to come home! The leader made everything happen with no hitches - and encouragement for a slightly trepidatious snorkeller! As for the Galapagos - Wow! I think that that the trip, being landbased, allowed us to experience so much more, meet more locals and eat local food and just soak up the atmosphere - on the beaches or in the bar!!

The 21 day adventure exceeded my expectations. It provided a wonderful introduction to the history and diversity of Peru’s culture. The hike to Machu Picchu was, in places, challenging but imminently doable. The tour leaders were knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and interesting people.
My desire to participate in another G Adventures tour is driven in large part by the quality of their tour leaders.

The trail was epic ! The best experience of my life !
Our guide Lucy managed logistics very well. She was knowledgeable and kept us moving together well. Our chef, Wenceslao needs to be crowned as the star of the trip. I’m vegan and he made me food that exceeded any expectations and beyond. How he made such delicious meals on top of a mountain baffles me.
Shout out to all the porters of #5 for their superhero power of getting our gear up the mountains.

I was very pleased with everything that happened from the time we boarded Yolita until our final disembarkation. Our trip leader was great, but equally important, the entire crew/staff was great.
