We hiked the O-trail, and this travel specialist was nothing short of spectacular from start to finish. They send a super clear itinerary and prep document, and the level of responsiveness from the team leading up the hike was genuinely second to none. Everything (transfers, accommodation, food) is taken care of for you, so you can really just focus on the experience. The guide we were provided with (Chacho!) was the single best guide we've had in a year of traveling in which we used many different guides for different activities. He was informative, motivating, and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Thank you for an incredible trip in Peru. My son I I were lucky to be the only participants on the Inca Trail with our awesome guide Andres and our 8 porters. We felt like VIPs as we were provided 3 course meals and our tents set up for us after a long hard day of trekking. The views on the trail were amazing and the ruins were fantastic to explore and learn about. Andres' knowledge and experience is vast and he shared his country and culture with us. While the trekking was challenging, the views and landscape such as the cloud forest made it worthwhile and spectacular. Arriving at Machu Picchu was the experience of a lifetime. We were graced with fine but cold weather. World Expeditions enabled everything to work seamlessly from being met each day by someone, to the tours of the Sacred Valley. I highly recommend this trip to Peru.

Wow - this was a challenging hike! Not so much the terrain, definitely due to the hot weather. Putting the heat, sweat and fatigue to one side - this hike is unique and rewarding. Along the route there is lots to see and the destination is mind blowing! Our team (Stiwen, Brayan & Pinnochio) were attentive and did everything possible to make this a safe & memorable trip. The side journeys on this itinerary were all worthwhile and enjoyable. It was just the two of us for the duration of this trip and at all times we felt safe and everything ran without a hitch.

Spectacular climbing expedition in Cordillera Real with ascents of Pequeno Alpamayo (5370m/17,618ft), Huayna Potosi (6088m/19,973ft) & Illimani (6438m/21,122ft). This is the complete climbing trip to Bolivia. The towering white peaks of the Cordillera Real provide a majestic backdrop above the vast Bolivian altiplano. This is a spectacular alpine region ideally suited to anyone who is looking to undertake a series of classic mountaineering ascents in one of the world's finest alpine locations. To ensure sound acclimatisation we spend time in La Paz and the ‘Island of the Sun’ on Lake Titicaca before heading to the snow capped Cordillera Real, where we undertake 2 days of instruction with our experienced guides to prepare for the ascents. An excellent level of fitness is necessary to help ensure your summit ambitions as we undertake a series of progressively more challenging peaks, culminating with Illimani, a moderately technical peak recognised as one of the classic climbs of South America.
