This Inca Soul Peru tour package showcases the best of Cusco and the Sacred Valley before taking you on the journey of a lifetime along the short Inca Trail to the famous Machu Picchu. This Peru vacation is the perfect mix of culture, history, and adventure for the eager traveler.
You will start your adventure in Cusco, home to a fascinating mix of colonial and ancient architecture. Here you'll explore the city on an expert-guided Cusco city tour and then experience the surrounding areas with a tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Once you have explored all that Cusco has to offer, head out on the famous short Inca Trail. This is more than a hike; it is an excursion into the past, where you can learn about Inca civilization, culture, and society.
Before the tour ends, you will have the time to visit the Rainbow Mountain.
Our leader made sure each and every one of us had the best experience of the countries that he was so passionate and knowledgeable about. They are beautiful and varied with snow capped mountains, glaciers creating large lakes and miles and miles of wide open spaces where a variety of animals such as grey foxes, sheep and guanacos roam. We learned of their history, culture, food, music and people whilst travelling from Buenos Airies to the ‘end of the world’ in Ushuaia and north through Chile. It is an experience I will never forget and would thoroughly recommend to those who love to travel.

This is a very active, fast-paced trip with plenty of opportunities for long hikes, amazing scenery and fabulous flora and fauna. Some long journeys, as it is a vast area to cover, but well worth it. An absolutely fabulous experience.

Initially before booking the trip I thought it was extremely overpriced.
However(our tour guide) was fantastic. He made the trip worth every penny and was extremely organised and knowledgeable. The locations were great, and the activities were really cool.
was a fantastic character, and became a friend by ensuring we all had fun. He looked after and catered for everyone’s needs and requirements, promoting safety above all else, and more than once went the extra mile to ensure we all had a great time (joining myself at CrossFit and his traditional dance moves were personal highlights).
I hope he gets the recognition he deserves, as I would love to book a similar trip with Contiki in future because of this great experience.
I would also recommend that you include huacachina in future - I went there on my own and it was one of the coolest experiences - maybe this could be added as an extra at the beginning of the trip.

The trip is incredible. The scenery varies every day and you'll ride on all possible terrains: sand, rock, gravel, tarmac and every day offers a lot of fun. The landscape of the Moon Valley in Chile is surreal and the Tatio geyser excursion is a stunning experience. Chile and Argentina are lovely countries; the areas visited still haven't been reached by mass tourism and you barely see any other tourists while travelling.

Set sail from Ushuaia on this ultimate Antarctic bucket list adventure, crossing the Earth's final frontier - the Antarctic Circle. From the 'mainland' of the Peninsula we will set sail southwards, aiming for the Antarctic Circle at 66°33? South - a goal which has eluded many of the wilful and skilful early explorers. Dense pack ice forbids many from reaching this far south, but your sturdy expedition vessel will allow you to explore areas that are off-limits for most ships. Watch as the sun circles around you, never quite setting at this extreme latitude. Based on our Classic Antarctic adventure but with two extra days to explore, you will have even more time to experience the majesty of the Great White Continent.
