The Maasai Mara is especially famous for its large cat population and also the fact that it plays an integral role in the Wildebeest Migration, a wildlife spectacular like none other on earth.

This 4-day tour offers a glimpse of African wildlife and visits two popular safari areas of Kenya, an awesome adventure combination of nature, wildlife, history and great tales from the locals of the old days. The tour includes accommodation, meals and game drives.
The tour starts by visiting the Maasai Mara National Reserve, which lies in the Great Rift Valley in Kenya and is one of the most popular reserves in all of Africa. Maasai Mara shares a border with Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and is essentially a continuation of this park, forming the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. The Masai Mara is African safari at its most iconic, a seemingly endless landscape filled with the drama of nature. Predators are thrillingly abundant, and the big cats define the rhythm on the plains every single day. Ungulates are diverse and plentiful, and astonishing numbers of four hooved animals cross the grasslands. Then there are the other giants, the elephants, giraffe, buffalo, hippo, even the elusive black rhino.
Then the tour heads to Lake Nakuru National Park, a gently undulating terrain with open bush and woodlands, typical of the dry rift valley vegetation. Twenty-seven percent of the park is composed of the Lake Nakuru waters. The park has a large reserve of over 400 species of birds, which make it an ideal site for bird lovers. The park is also a sanctuary of rhinoceros with approximately 45 black and 31 white rhinoceros and the Rothschild's Giraffe.
The sleeping accommodations and food were also excellent. We had absolutely nothing to complain about and didn't lack anything. This is a holiday I highly recommend to anyone who loves adventure.
We were not disappointed and every single day was incredible, which we will remember for the rest of our lives! From out tour manager in Arusha office, who was very responsive over the course of our research on the operators to our guide and the driver - everything was impeccably organised, we wouldn’t change a thing.
The chosen lodges, selected routes, responsiveness to action or drive where needed, time estimation, food and patience as well as respect to all humans as well as animals left us speechless. I recommend them to everyone and already did to my friends. Thank you to the whole team, we will cherish this honeymoon memories forever!!! Thank you for making it special.

The abundant wildlife of the Mkata floodplain makes it a popular wildlife destination, with Mikumi National Park as its shining gem, a park that is often compared to the mighty Serengeti National Park.
Mikumi is full of excitement and adventure. It presents some of the best and most luxurious accommodations in the country and its plains host a vast variety of wildlife. Every trip to Mikumi offers something new, something even more incredible, and no matter how many times you visit this inspiring work of nature, you're always left speechless.
Mikumi National Park is one of the most popular national parks in Tanzania and this is because it is easily accessible from Dar es salaam. Mikumi National Park is named after a village, which in turn takes its name from the Swahili word for Borassus Palm, which once grew there abundantly.
This park can be visited in a single day from Dar es Salaam. But, if you have more time, this charming park warrants a longer stay. The wide expanses of the Mkata Floodplain are full of wildlife: lions, wildebeest, impala, eland and buffalo migrate across the plains. In the Miombo woodland on the foothills of the local mountains greater kudu and sable antelopes can be seen. More than 400 species of birds have also been sighted in Mikumi.
The tour departs from Durban heading northward along the coast to northern KwaZulu-Natal. The first stop is the town of St Lucia and the estuary inside the iSimangaliso Wetlands Park. There you will board a riverboat for a 2-hour guided tour of the estuary. The local guide will inform you of the reserves history and its incredible wildlife.
Previously known as the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park, iSimangaliso Wetlands Park was declared South Africa's first Natural World Heritage Site (UNESCO) and is considered South Africa's third largest park with 280km of near pristine coastline and 328 000 hectares of magnificent scenery. The protected area is home to one of the largest population of hippopotami in SA, an estimated 1000 crocodiles as well as a wealth of plant, bird and animal life. The park was proclaimed a world heritage site because of the rich biodiversity, unique ecosystems and natural beauty occurring in a relatively small area. Animals occurring in the park include lion, African elephant, leopard, black and southern white rhino, buffalo and in the ocean, whales, dolphins, and marine turtles including the leatherback and loggerhead turtle.
After the boat tour, you will travel to the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve. Your experienced guide will show you around the park in search of the diverse wildlife and big 5.
Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve is set in the heart of Zululand where Africa’s Big 5 roam the flourishing savannah. The Park contains an immense diversity of fauna and flora and is characterised by hilly topography. The list of animals at the park is long and varied. Today, the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park is world-renowned for its White Rhino conservation and its Centenary Capture Centre is setting exceptional standards for animal capture and sustainable utilization in Africa.
Your guide will stop at Hilltop Camp restaurant giving you time to refuel and relax. The restaurant is situated at the top of the hill and gives visitors the chance to enjoy the scenery of the camp and surrounding areas. Afterwards, you will continue with your safari before leaving the park for Durban.
