The tour was a total of 15 days, and while fast-paced, the overall experience was magnificent! The locations visited were breathtaking, and the knowledge provided by our tour guide Ramez was unsurpassed. I cannot recommend him enough. He went above and beyond in making everyone feel welcome and safe during the tour while bringing much fun to the adventure. Great thought went into the planning of the itinerary (particularly in Egypt), so that we would visit attractions at times when both crowds and the heat were minimal. Favourite activities included visiting the Valley of the Kings (including the sunrise hot air balloon ride over the region), Abu Simbel, and the overnight felucca ride which included dancing and merryment around a fire for a group member's birthday. We’re both in our 60s and loved the concept of seeing iconic cities in one tour. Highlights for us were Cape Town and Agra, very well organized with knowledgeable guides. The early morning flights and long transfers were tiring, and there wasn’t much time to unpack before moving again. That said, we met lovely people and learned so much. We just wish we had more time in Singapore. They handled logistics impressively for such a big tour. Would recommend for flexible, energetic travelers.

I almost didn’t book this trip, thinking I’d be “too old for a cruise tour” or that it would be rushed, crowded, or filled with too much sightseeing and not enough space to breathe. But let me tell you, this tour completely changed my mind. It wasn’t just doable it was deeply enjoyable. Everything was thoughtfully organized, accessible, and paced just right for someone like me in my early 60s who still loves to explore but isn’t looking to be on the go from dawn to dusk without a pause.
We traveled as a group yes but it never felt like we were being shuffled from one place to the next. There was enough structure to feel secure and taken care of but also these little pockets of stillness that I didn’t expect... a quiet cup of coffee on the cruise deck while the Nile slowly moved past even a moment of meditation I did on my own by the river. Those little moments made all the difference.
The temples were something else. Edfu and Philae in particular struck me, not just because of their size or detail, but their presence. There’s a certain quiet power in these places that you only feel by standing there in person. And then of course the Grand Pyramids. I thought I’d seen them already in books and documentaries, but being there… it gave me chills. There’s something about seeing them up close that stirs something ancient and humbling in you.
I came home with more than just photos...I came back with a sense of connection to something much bigger than myself. This tour wasn’t just a vacation. It was an experience that touched me deeply, at just the right pace, and reminded me that it’s never too late to feel wonder again.
Excellent trip overall. Itinerary was full on, varied and interesting. Some days were perhaps too full and one visit could have been better the day after ( say). Mohamed or guide was excellent. His explanations were VERY detailed and perhaps more of an overview would suffice for those of us who were not keen Egyptologists! He looked after us very well though. The Old Cataract Hotel is a must but we organised that ourselves.

This was an excellent tour that never disappointed. While the tour was rated full on and we were busy, it never felt rushed or pressured. It definitely lives up to it's name, a great representation of the variety that is South Africa.

Absolutely incredible 3-day journey from Marrakech to Fes! Our guide and driver, Hakim, was the absolute BEST—so knowledgeable, friendly, and made every moment special. From exploring the Atlas Mountains and ancient kasbahs to the unforgettable night under the stars in the Sahara, every detail was perfect. Hakim, made sure we were comfortable and shared fascinating stories about the places we visited. Watching the sunrise in the Merzouga dunes and visiting beautiful Berber villages along the way were highlights. Highly recommend this tour and especially Khalil for an authentic Moroccan adventure!

This travel company simply made it all work with the best 3-day desert adventure from Marrakech via Merzouga. Beautifully scheduled, from the drive across the Atlas Mountains to the enchanting Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou—no stop was boring. The highlight of this trip was a sunset camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes combined with an unforgettable night under the stars at a luxury desert camp while listening to traditional Berber music. Comfortable accommodations, a very knowledgeable guide, and every moment was a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like an authentic Moroccan desert experience!
