The perfect introduction to Egypt, this tour covers Cairo and the Nile Valley between Aswan and Luxor, starting with the amazing Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza.
From Cairo we take the overnight seater train to Aswan, where we'll take a boat trip to the beautiful island temple of Philae and have the option to visit the huge temples built by Ramses II at Abu Simbel. We'll spend the night in Aswan in an authentic Nubian village.
The next highlight of the tour is a relaxing overnight cruise down the Nile on a traditional felucca sailboat. Our support boat with toilet, shower and kitchen for the crew to prepare your meals will join with you during the day and at night. Sailing on the Nile on a felucca is one of the best ways to see Egypt and it provides a great break between your busy sightseeing. An upgrade to a hotel is available for this night if you'd prefer some more comfort.
After exploring the amazing ancient Pharaonic sites in Luxor, we re-join the overnight train to Cairo. Additional options are then available before you fly home on your final day for a half-day city tour taking in the Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Khan-el-Khalili bazaar, or to learn more about the history of pyramid building at Dashour and Memphis. Mount Toubkal was excellent, it was a challenging walk but perfectly guided by Rabia. The food was delicious and the prefect nutrition for a tough climb up the mountain. I enjoyed the company, especially our guide Rabia and there was plenty of pit stops along the way. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a challenging, beautiful and fairly cheap mountain walking experience.

Noel organised a fantastic safari for me which was 6 days in Northern Tanzania visiting Tarangire National park, lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti. I had lots of questions before the trip which Noel was able to answer through phone and email. And then met me before the safari and after the safari. I went solo with the guide/driver and the cook. It was a fantastic experience and I had such a great time. The guide was excellent - keen, enthusiastic and was knew all the different animals and birds. The food was good and the tent/ 4 wheel drive comfortable. The only thing that was not good was the campsite in Serengeti but this was not the tour operator's fault but the Serengeti Park authorities who just do not maintain their campsites.
Would highly recommend booking this tour.

I have spent the last 3 days visiting Abydos & Dendara (1 day) and Luxor (2 days) with my guide Ahmed Haggag Ali.
First of all, I would highly recommend Abydos to anyone (even if it is way out of any route, +3h by car from Luxor). Abydos is truly a special place, thanks to its colorful paintings and design. And Ahmed provided me with all the history and explanations related to this temple. He knows eveything!! He has been able to answer all of my questions so far (and believe me, I have had a lot!) We later had a delicious 'fuul' in a local restaurant (see pic).
Luxor is, of course, a must see if you plan to visit Egypt. I spent one day in the east bank and another in the west bank. The Karnak and Luxor temples on the East bank are fascinating, and the Valley of the Kings in the West bank has beautiful tombs. Of the 3 tombs I visited, Ramses III was my favourite, extremely colorful. If you have the budget, I also recommend the hot air balloon trip, which is just breathtaking.
I will spend 3 more days with my guide Ahmed Haggag Ali to visit Edfu & Kom Ombo, Aswan and Abu Simbel, and I am very much looking forward to it!
