Peter Helmy, our tour leader, was insightful. The temples and other sites we visited were all stunning but Peter succinctly summed up the history of the places and made us appreciate it even more. Although our tour group came from different parts of the world , I am sure we all Love Egypt and will cherish our experiences.

Ramez is a really nice and kind person. He is really knowledgeable of the history of Egypt. We went to all of the most important sites and he explained all their history. The drivers and the security are great. We were made to feel safe and cared for. Ramez took into consideration our needs and made sure they were met. We had a lot of fun, and we were left with amazing knowledge about Ancient Egypt. I will probably recommend this tour and our guide to my friends and family.

Great itinerary. I saw what I wanted to see. A bit hectic for a few days, waking up very early to catch a flight to Aswan then wake up early again to drive to Abu Simbel. But has a morning rest on the 3rd day and then 2 days rest in Hurghada. It was too cold to do much water activities. Hurghada accomodation is great with free drinks. Really enjoyed the tour with great group and tour guides.

Mixture of hotels as per say with Explore, from full electricity to an African Hut lit by candle light. Please note accommodation is very basic compared to Western standards which Assan stressed to the group on the first day of the trip.
As mentioned in the itinerary there is a heavy emphasis on the bird life and the majority of trips are geared towards the birds. If birds are your thing then this is a trip for you.
The guide Assan is an excellent & enthusiastic birder with a comprehensive knowledge of the birds from The Gambia & Senegal.
Assan is a very open and honest guide & will relay his personal experiences of his own village life in The Gambia.
Driver Cering was excellent & ensured we were all safe & comfy on the long journeys on the bumpy African roads.
Bottled was provided on the bus along with regular local fruits.
Food wise, a lot of enthesis on fish cooked and served whole.
I am a vegetarian non fish eating and with help from Assan I never went hungry.
Local children enjoyed the sweets the group brought from the U.K.

A safari that lived up to and exceeded expectations. Our guide KK was very experienced and knowledgeable. Quote from another traveller on their 3rd safari... "don't bother with another safari Joyce; you will be disappointed". Lying in our tent at night listening to hyenas, elephants and other non-identified animals is something we will never forget, nor will we forget watching lions moving into the shade of our vehicle as we watched them walking in the sand. Our trip to Egypt with World Expeditions was excellent. We had two guides, one for Cairo and one for the Nile and Aswan. Both had tertiary qualifications in Egyptian history and were passionate about it. It is an amazing country a nd a great, well run tour.
