“Our day started very early, but it worth it! We were able to see the old Maya city before the crowds, and were able to take great pictures too. It is a really interesting place, especially if you like history. It is one of the few very important historical sites to visit like Siem Reap, Giza or Rome... Our guide; Marco knew every little details about the place and the Maya culture and made our trip even more exciting.”

“During July 2019 I visited the Maldives as a solo traveler. The Island Hopper tour was perfect for my intent to experience the real flavor/culture/people of the country and not the artificial environment of resorts. I arrived and was met by Shaffaf who was the perfect guide/host to hotels, ferries, experiences across 5 islands. I love Maldive island life--even more so after the busy arrival city of Male. I especially love the FREEDOM to set my own itinerary on each island after local representatives warmly welcomed me at each island ferry and presented the options of their island. Diving, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, visiting the homes of locals, beach time and just sharing hours of lazy conversation with the locals was priceless. After returning to the USA, my heart is still in The Maldives!!”

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Optional Tours:

1- Whale Watching Navigation (From June 1st to November 30th)

Please note: This Optional excursion has to be taken the same day of the Peninsula Valdes Full Day Tour.  Duration of navigation: 1 hours and 30 minutes.

When the Peninsula Valdes Tour reaches Puerto Piramides, a small touristic village in the coast of the Peninsula, we have the chance, during whale season, to embark for a Whale Watching excursion. The guides on board will tell you about the coastal and marine ecosystems. This navigation is enjoyable because of the environment and because of the company of the gentle giants of the sea. Apart from observing them in their habitat, we will learn about their biological cicle: mating, birth and breeding of these beautiful whales.

2 - Punta Tombo Penguin Colony (From September 1st to March 20th)

You can take this optional tour on Day 3. In this tour you will visit the most important Latin American continental “Pingüinera” or Penguin Colony (where hundred of thousands of Penguins lays their eggs on the beach).

You will leave Puerto Madryn at 7:30 am and make a first stop at “Rawson” port, in the “Union” beach to see the “Toninas Overas” if you are lucky (a cool-looking dolphin species). After that, we will move towards Punta Tombo, a geographic feature that serves as a habitat to the “Magallanes” Penguin. There, we will have time to observe how the Gulls, “Skuas”, “Petrels”, Cormorans, Oystercatchers and Duck Steams cohabit in the coast. You will also be able to observe steppe characteristic species like “Guanacos”(typical animal), “Choiques” (small ostrichs), “Maras” (big patagonian Hares) and Foxes. Then we will visit the small town of Gaiman, to admire its culture and the very particular architecture, and also to taste a delicious piece of cake and a welsh tea (optional). We will return to Puerto Madryn around 18:30 hs.

Includes: Bilingual guide, Pinguineras, Toninas sight, Gaimán, Snacks, Mini-bus transportation
Excludes: Entrances to National Parks
