Starting and ending in Paro, the "Bhutan Cultural Journey" tour is a guided adventure tour that takes 13 days. You will travel through Tang Valley, Punakha, Paro and 5 other destinations in Bhutan. "Bhutan Cultural Journey" is a small group tour which includes accommodation, transport, meals and others.

A unique combination of culture and walking without the commitment to extended trekking. This unique itinerary is packed with cultural experiences and a blend of varied day walks which will appeal to those who like to keep active whilst engaging with the rich culture and history that Bhutan has to offer. We begin our journey in the serene Paro Valley and drive to Haa Valley via the Chele La Pass, the highest motorable road in Bhutan. From here we take a walk to the Kila Gompa with views of the sacred Jomolhari peak. We visit the well known Gangtey Valley and enter central Bhutan, well known for its many monasteries. We undertake day hikes through bamboo and pine forests to surreal viewpoints over the valleys and wetlands. This area is the breeding ground to the elusive Black-necked crane in November to February. We spend some time exploring Trongsa and the lush and fertile valley of Bumthang valley. From here, we continue onwards to Punakha via Dochu La Pass and the magnificent Punakha Dzong. We visit the nation's capital of Thimphu, and visit the renowned Cheri Monastery and a school that upholds the traditional practice of painting. We return to Paro and conclude a memorable journey in the land of the thunder dragon with a hike up to Taktsang Monastery.

CANCELLATION

No additional cancellation fees apply for this Bhutan Cultural Journey tour. You can cancel the tour up to 72 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 71 days of departure.

Payment

For any tour departures within 08 June 2024, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 08 June 2024, a deposit of 316 USD is required to confirm the tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 71 days before trip departure.

Travel Insurance
