Zanzibar Tours in April 2027

A great introduction to the wildlife of East Africa, there is nothing quite like the excitement of animal/bird spotting that is an integral part of this tour. Camping allowed one to feel close to nature and was even better as few had other campers close by. Kip and his team were superb hosts keeping us informed of local life, both human and animal, while ensuring we were well fed. On the cultural side we visited a Masai village in the Serengeti and had guided tour of a typical local market in Musoma.

The four crew members, Erellah, Albert, Boniface and Amos were fantastic. Erellah is an excellent tourguide - very patient, funny, helpful: a delight and any group can consider themselves lucky to be in his care. Albert is a brilliant cook and made delicious vegan food for me: not easy to do in East Africa. He was fun and creative and all mealtimes were a pleasure. Boniface is by far the very best driver I've ever encountered: very patient, extremely skilled and was able to take us safely along very poor roads, while also taking care of the truck itself. Amos is very friendly and helpful and worked very hard to support the crew. I'm sure he will be a fantastic tourguide soon. All of the crew were fun to talk to and made us feel very welcome. The trip itself was spectacular - we were very lucky and managed to see many beautiful animals, including elephants, black rhino, white rhino, lions, cheetah and a leopard. I was lucky enough to spot a serval from the truck, but it slipped away into the grass before anyone else could see it. The pace of the trip was good - we covered a huge distance, but spent enough time in each place to get good wildlife spotting. The last few days on Zanzibar were a welcome treat too and really rounded everything off nicely. I will always have fond memories of the group and the trip. The group members were all great: friendly, interesting people I enjoyed meeting and hope to keep in touch with.

Very well organised and enjoyable trip. The cook was amazing, everything was kept so clean and hygienic. The driver always made you feel safe and the leader was one of the best I have travelled with.

Discovering northern Tanzania national parks was long time dream. We were looking for a local company that would offer us flexibility and quality service. All went perfect : organization before we arrived, during our trip regarding quality of logistics, accommodation, transportation and food as well as quality of our guides, to the transfer on the way back to the airport. All was made for us to feel like home while preserving the specificity of our experience in a wonderful environment. I did expect a lot from this trip .. thank you for making it even better than imagined ! I definetely recommend this company !

Best Safari experts: Once we got to the hotel, the Safari itinerary provided by the tour company, our safari guide Laiser Maasai was very knowledgeable and did a superb job of keeping us all interested, amused and happy. We saw some incredible wildlife on our trip; the hotels were mostly very comfortable even though at times we were in the middle of the jungle. A thoroughly enjoyable experience for my family and I would highly recommend it. Social responsible: It is good to know that the company has helping also the charity in Moshi, where we visited, a disadvantage children home of more than 50 kids, I also promise to help their NGO AFRICA NEIGHBORHOOD foundation as they are pledge to service the community. I would highly recommend this trip. Each day was fantastic and I intend to return to Tanzania to explore further national parks. Our time in Tanzania was amazing; the tour was very ably and professionally led by Brian. What I particularly liked was that at each location I was free to do as I pleased, take part in some of the more strenuous activities or wander at my own pace. Inevitably I chose the latter. Our first hotel, in Arusha was excellent the company books it for us and I was soo relaxing. Brian's suggestion of picnic lunches in lovely places was particularly inspired as were our evening debriefing sessions from well informed guides and companys manager, with a couple of drinks before dinner. Our visit to their charity projects they are working with now was life changing experience, we loved this company as their responsible to environment and communities, and they bring back what they get to them. All in all I will travelling with this company again and again. GREAT! GREAT LOCAL OWNED SAFARI COMPANY.

Didn't expect the activities to be as good as they were, and they were well organized. The canoe trip, game drives, mokoro trip, etc were all verygood fun and the local guides were great.
