Vientiane Tours in November 2025

The Spirit of Laox trip was excellent, great value for what was included. We especially liked the trip on the Mekong River, it was a lovely restful day inbetween alll the other full on days. We liked the amount of activities and trips provided by Explore and all were interesting and enjoyable . The tour leader, Silk, was great and he had a huge knowledge of the history of Laos and Cambodia which added to the interest The local guides, Tae and Pheng, in Laos were also very knowledgeable and helpful. We generally had a fantastic and are looking forward to our next trip with Explore

All round a good trip, a good introduction to a country I didn't know much about. Using the train to get to Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang is a smoother and faster way to get to places than going by road, but you are not allowed to take anything which could be considered as a weapon (as in hand luggage on a plane), even in your luggage - it will screened and items confiscated. Fortunately the guide was able to get things taken from group members taken to Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang by road. I would recommend this trip if you are interested in visiting south east Asia.

This tour was amazing thanks to our tour guides. They all took care to make sure we had fun and did not miss anything. How informative and knowledgeable they were! And I could see their pride of the country when they introduced it to us. We had good communication all the time for pickups and flights. They went above and beyond to see to the needs of the customers. We went on this tour for our anniversary and one of the tour guides - Lucy helped us to arrange the romantic dinner! Very pleased with her service. Thank you so much! I strongly recommend this tour as both the tour guides and agency are reliable and responsible. Would love to go on my next trip to Laos and Southeast Asia with them!

Completely awesome!!! We got to interact with the locals and became fully immersed in Laos culture. The residents of the village, especially in Ban Khone, are incredibly kind and hospitable as they consistently show their great courtesy and respect for visitors from other countries. The local guides assisted and supported us along the journey, and gave us some uncommon facts about Khone Phapheng Falls.

Overall, this trip was an amazing experience. I am a solo traveler and would not have been able to do and see nearly as much as I did with this group, if I were on my own. It's very nice to just show up for an adventure and have a guide and lead you through different countries.

A well-curated itinerary with a nice mix of guided tours and free time. We loved being able to walk to local cafés and night markets from our hotels. One of my favorite moments was swimming at Kuang Si Falls after a warm morning of exploring villages. I feel like I saw the soul of each country. Communication with Tessa was seamless. She was incredibly responsive and took care of every detail to make the trip stress-free. Cant thank her enough abd we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this journey to anyone!
