Unawatuna Tours in Winter

Amazing 10 days on the Sri Lanka uncovered tour. Special thank you to Hasi for being such a great tour guide throughout and V for the couple of days we spent with him on tour.

V was an amazing tour guide tour guide ,he was so friendly and knew so so much history not only about Sri Lanka but so much about England as well! He always made sure everyone was okay all the time, he taught us lots of useful phrases to! His English was amazing! He really is an asset to the agency, i have had 4 tour guides previously and he was the kindest and most knowledgeable! We had a challenging member in the group and oh my god i’ve never met someone so patient and kind, whereas a lot of tour guides may have taken offence and got annoyed with these kinds of people! He truly was an amazing guide not a bad word could be said about him! If you want to learn all about culture and basically anything about Sri Lanka book the tour!!Activities were just as great as V was. The only thing that i would change is that we should stay in Sigirya for only 1 night and an extra night in Ella! (Tour 3rd feb 2023)

Waji.. friendly, funny, loveable tour guide! always had a smile on his face! Loved learning about the local culture and history of Sri Lanka from him. The 10 days experience was great! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Great walks and views of the country.. nice to do some active things mixed in with the sight seeing and bus travel. Thought the Train ride through Ella was stunning! The walk up Lions rock was a little hard.. for an unfit person but was totally worth it! Loved every minute of the trip and the other guys on the trip were a nice gang of friends!

I have done trips with the tour operator in Bali and Vietnam, but the Sri Lanka tour was definitely my favourite itinerary. The group, activities and experiences were amazing. Our guide, Waji, was absolutely incredible, he has so much knowledge about the country, is very funny and super helpful. I've made some incredible memories and can't wait for my next trip!

Also. Es war super gut auch wenn ich nicht viel englisch konnte aber meistens alles verstanden hab.bei Krankheiten wurde uns auch super schnell geholfen.das beste fand ich natürlich bei den einheimischen zu essen und selber zu kochen wie sie leben und ihren Tag so meistern. Ich war von der ganzen Tour und den geiz begeistern und würde es weiter empfehlen und sogar noch mal selber machen. Es war eine super tolle Erfahrung. Bombastisch.

I had a great time on the Sri Lanka tour. Our tour guide Wajira, was amazing. He was informative and spent the bus journeys tell us about Sri lankan culture and customs which was really interesting, he even tried to teach us a local song. He was super friendly and fun tour guide. The tour was varied and hit all the good spots, the train to Ella was so beautiful, and we got so close to the elephants on the safari (and we saw lots of other animals too including massive crocodiles). The accomodation was really good, the hotel in Ella has the most beautiful view over the mountains. I have had a great time and would definitely recommend the tour.
