Feedback from guests whose tour started in/around Tunis during October.

An amazing tour loaded with variety. From sleeping in lux hotels, to camping and simple cave hotels. Sightseeing ancient sites in Carthage and particularly the amphitheatre in El Djem a highlight. With lots of opportunity to experience all the local cuisine. Plus a chance to relax on the coast in beautiful Hammamet.

Best of Tunisia is a great tour, visiting varied parts of the country, from the more developed coast in the north to "glamping" in the Sahara desert. Expect quite a bit of time travelling in a minibus but there are so many interesting sites to see, including the massive El Djem Roman amphitheatre, the location of the very first Star Wars film, beautiful ancient mosques, and the pictureque village of Sidi Bou Said.

Mohamed very good and patient tour leader, interesting locations nice food, only downside MATMATA not ideal for older traveler's as there were no handrails to stairs or balconies. Also a long drive to sousse! Dougga would have been the better option.

Tunisia is a country where the people are very kind and friendly. You can see beautiful Roman ruins, miles of olive groves, camels in the desert and medinas full of pottery, leather goods and hand woven rugs.

Tunisia is an incredible country with so much the experience. The itinerary was great as it allowed for so many different experiences. The Roman sites at Carthage and El Djem, the lovely Sidi Bousad. The dessert canyon and the overnight camping were just fabulous. There is a lot of ground to cover so a lot of time spent in the minibus. The drives were broken up into manageable portions. I will go back to Tunisia to see some of the bits we missed

Tour leader had problems with 2 group members which had an effect with the rest of the group. Some of the issues could have been avoided if daily itinerary, and especially times, were displayed on the hotel notice board rather than by word of mouth.
