I cannot say enough about Oldemar and his team. We bought our plane tickets and thats it! They handled everything else for 15 days!!! We visited Tamarindo, Monteverde, La Fortuna, Arenal, Tortuguero, Puerto Viejo and San Jose. We were there in rainy season, and had private van transfers to each location. Oldemar, Pablo, and Oscar were especially amazing Costa Ricans, and we met countless others. We had dozens of transfers, adventure boat rides, excursions, day and night hikes, horseback rides to waterfalls, nature hikes, zip lines, hanging bridges, and a special late night trip to watch the giant sea turtles lay their eggs. Amazing!!! CRs are very proud that their teachers and professors are their army, since theyve had no military in over 70 years. Education and health care are free. They have between 3-6% of the worlds biodiversity - birds, snakes, frogs, monkeys, sloths, and so many more. Pay attention that the rainy season means it rains (sometimes HARD) and is very humid! Amazing trip, highly recommended. The itinerary changed slightly, so there was snorkelling on the last day which was amazing, almost as if leaving the best till last! This is for the more adventurous traveller rather than the type of person who likes to sit on a beach, although not as active as it could have been! We saw a lot of beautiful animals and birds, to many to mention, and especially enjoyed the boat trips. We can't wait now for our next exodus adventure.

We had a lovely welcome by Felipe and found him to be extremely knowledgeable about the country including the plants, birds, wildlife, politics, etc. He didn't try and rush us and always happy to answer any questions. Couldn't have been more helpful and enthusiastic. Also Paulo from Arenal Star was extremely helpful and stopped for bird watching or frogs whenever he saw something he thought we would enjoy
