A lot is packed into this trip and that is a good thing. The changes from city to countryside to beach to city allows you to fully appreciate the diversity of nature that the Baltics have. The cities are interesting historically and architecturally.
I did the first one back around 2002. It was fantastic. I had a great time. I shared my accom with a Scot from Glasgow, who was an interesting character, I'll leave it at that. We started in Vilnius and ended in Tallinn. By the look of the 2016 course guide it looks similar to 2002, just in reverse. There were only 5 of us, including Paulius our local leader from Klaepedia. The scenery was great. Lots of stone cottages, stone walls and roosting storks on farmhouse chimneys. The pace was nice and easy, no big hills to negotiate although a few long gradual climbs, that got the cardio system pumping. Back then you needed a separate visa to enter Latvia, but not the other 2 countries. This may have changed, if not don't think you can wing it at the border. It cost me a lost day in Vilnius, Lithuania while I negotiated with the Latvian embassy to get a visa after paying "an emergency process fee" in USD to the official who finally issued my visa.
A great trip, blending cultural aspects, great sightseeing, exploring the 3 capital cities as well as some nice cycling. Terrain was nice and flat and was within the capability of everyone in our group. Distances were very manageable and there was a minimum of waiting around. Lukas, our guide and the driver were simply outstanding in getting us up on our bikes each day with a minimum of fuss. Fast turnaround time between finishing our cycling and being back on the move again on the bus.
This was a fast paced tour of the three Baltic countries, starting off from Estonia and ending in Lithuania. All three were very interesting countries and much different than I had imagined. Everything worked smoothly and there was never a dull moment.

Vaida is an exceptional tour guide, I would go on any trip with her. The biking was great and the areas were beautiful. Really get a nice sense of the country. But we had beautiful weather, very lucky. The one thing I would change is the hotel in Kleipeda; it was so terrible it almost ruined the trip for me. Also, vegetarians need to make arrangements - bring protein bars, etc, because it is mostly meat and fish.
