Our guide Ann spoke perfect English, was prompt every morning picking us from our comfortable hotel and was professional and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of all castles, monasteries and villages! Driving from one scenic location to the next was comfortable in our air conditioned sedan. Can’t thank Ann and her company enough for a trip which certainly is a highlight of all our years of travelling. We booked a private 8 day tour of Romania with this travel operator and they did a fabulous job of making sure we had the best time ever!! They lined us up with a tour guide named Laurentiu. He was fantastic!!! He was extremely knowledgable of all the places we visited throughout Romania. It was all natural for him and it was not scripted and he knew the history of each sight. He was very laid back and was never in a rush. He had a great personality and a good sense of humor. He made our entire trip fun and interesting. He took us to all of the main sights on our itinerary, as well as some off the beaten path sights. We got a true understanding and feeling of what life in Romania is all about. The hotels they booked us in were all conveniently located to all of the main attractions and were all unique boutique type hotels. Lauentui knew where all the great restaurants were along the way and we ate like kings and the food was excellent. Romania is a vast and beautiful country. Everything ran smooth and was perfect. We had the best time anyone could ever ask for. We would highly recommend this company for all your travel needs throughout Romania.

We originally booked to go to Romania in 2020, but this has to be postponed, and we finally get to Romania in June. The standard of the hotels and guides was top, and we got all support despite our initial concern about traveling with a local company.

"This was our very first time visiting Romania. My husband and I are from the United States and we only speak English so this trip was definitely out of our comfort zone. We first booked our tour for September 2020. We found the perfect tour, it was incredibly easy to book and the price was amazing. I studied the itinerary and it had everything we wanted to do. Between the summer of 2020 and our actual tour in August 2021 we had to reschedule twice due to Covid-19 and travel restrictions. Rescheduling was made so easy and we never had to pay more to reschedule. Everytime I had questions or concerns about traveling to Romania from the United States my emails were answered within 24 hours. We were provided with transportation to and from the airport. This was a pleasant surprise since we arrived four days before the tour and left five days after the tour ended. The hotels we stayed at were perfect. They were very nice hotels with large comfortable rooms. We even changed our hotel in Bucharest for our last five nights to the hotel we stayed at on the first day of our tour. That's how much we loved it. The places we visited on the tour and the activities that were planned were even more amazing that i could have ever imagined. It was the small details that made our trip to Romania so memorable. I have so many magical memories from our tour but these are my top 5: The amazing dinner we had to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary. We had a table under the stars where we experienced a little bit of rain (the only rain we had in 15 days) for luck on our marriage and they had a band come in and play. The music and songs were so beautiful. We saw a traditional dance and my husband and I were asked to join. Between the delicious food and drinks, music and dancing, and the great company it will be a night I will never forget. Going to the Turda Salt Mine was an experience like none other. The first time you see it will leave you breathless. We walked down into the main area where they have different things you can do. Then we walked down even further below to see the lake at the bottom of the salt mine. You can even rent a boat to take out on the lake. We rode the Ferris wheel and it was the perfect way to see all of the salt mine. The different churches and monasteries we were able to visit were so full of history and beauty. They really show off the history of religion throughout the country. The art and décor is absolutely stunning. Peles Castle was by far my favorite. It is absolutely breathtaking. It is so beautiful and it is still fully furnished. You are able to tour the castle and really imagine what it would have been like to live there. You could spend all day wandering from room to room just looking at everything. The outside of the castle is just as stunning. The tour of Bucharest was so informative. We were shown so many important locations throughout the city and learned so much about Romania's history. We got to take a walking tour where more of Romania's history was explained to us. The tour did a great job setting the tone for the rest of our tour. I can't say enough good things about this tour. We learned Romania's history, we met the most amazing people and created memories that will last a lifetime. After this trip Romania will always hold a special place in my heart. Florin was our tour guide. I don't think there is a word that can truly describe how amazing he is. I like to think of him as the Dream Maker because he makes dreams come true. He is so knowledgeable, pretty sure he knows everything, and will always answer your questions. He is so passionate about what he does and it shines through him. Florin was always willing to share what he knows with us. Florin always had great stories about the places we went and things we saw. He made taking in all of the information interesting and fun. Every single day I always had a huge smile on my face because he made sure we were always having fun. There was never a dull moment and he made us feel very comfortable the whole time. I told Florin I had always wanted to see a brown bear in the Carpathian Mountains and we saw 2! Florin made it possible for me to watch a cow be milked and her newborn calf fed. He took us to a blacksmith where he was able to speak to the blacksmith to have a special item made for me that I had told Florin I really wanted. I will never forget the 'Penguin House' or the great stories on 'the Bridge of Lies'. He told us about Electric Castle and we were able to experience that concert for free. I could write a book on our trip and all of the information that we learned. This tour company and our wonderful guide, Florin, made my dream trip come true. Anyone who has the pleasure of taking this tour and hitting the jackpot getting Florin as a tour guide you will not be disappointed and your dreams will come true."
