I really enjoyed this trip. It was my third Topdeck tour and, sadly, my final one now that the age range has changed, but no hard feelings. The group dynamic on this tour was brilliant. Everyone clicked, everyone had fun, and we ended up with a great mix of people from the UK, US, Canada, and Australia. It genuinely felt like a proper adventure. His local knowledge didn’t just cover the itinerary, during our free time he always had ideas for places to explore, food to try, and hidden corners worth checking out. I’m a big history fan, and his insight was top-notch. I won’t forget my time in Korea with this amazing group. A great country. People very friendly. There were a few problems as it was the tour guide's first time with Explore. One hotel was totally unsuitable for sharing, as the toilet and sink were in the bedroom. only the shower was behind a clear glass door. However one hotel was 4 star, the best hotel I've stayed in with Explore. I was one of three males who hadn't paid the single supplement, yet was only offered the single room twice over 11 nights. As the language is difficult in Korea, I would have liked the tour guide to organise a suitable restaurant every evening and help with the menu.
