Reviews of our Seattle Tours for Summer
Feedback from guests whose tour started in/around Seattle during Summer.
It was great, condensed, we saw a lot more than what we expected on the itinerary. I wish you have options for family bedrooms size, We were a family of 4 , the parents with 2 children. Had to be separated in different rooms most of the trip.
All and all it was a well rounded itinerary. Two points I feel necessary to comment on... 1. The visit where we listened to a native Indian speak, we watched a video and did a small craft before departing....I along with others on the tour found it extremely boring. We were expecting more dialog of the ways of the tribe but instead listened to what felt like a fantasy tale. 2. The optional dinner cruise which was 2 1/2 hours in length was too long. We (meal was delicious), socialized and had more than enough to go upstairs to see the view. The piano player was talented but having a sing along or the such would have been far more well received
Needs to include time a Seattle Center for Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens and other museums. Most famous sites in the town and we had to spend a lot of extra money for a day there
Travel from Salt Lake City to Seattle, visiting some of the best US National Parks on the way! An adventure from start to finish. During our time in the impressive Grand Tetons, we had some great walks amongst mountain and lakeside scenery, even spotting moose on the trails. The cosy town of Jackson Hole makes a great base for this part of the tour. We should have had 4 days in Yellowstone but some serious flooding put a very unfortunate stop to that - a last minute itinerary change was handled incredibly well by the experienced team and our wonderful leader Mike. This meant extra time in the Tetons and Glacier, along with some other really interesting stops added along the way. Glacier was a real favourite for me, for the epic landscapes and great walks in 'bear country'. We saw 3 bears here - a great sighting near the entrance to the park! Can't wait to come back and see Yellowstone one day..
This was a great trip travelling through 5 US states including spectacular scenery, a variety of walking trails and the opportunity to see wildlife. Despite Yellowstone being completely closed for the first time in 34 years when we visited we still had a great time in a very beautiful part of the world.
We had a fantastic start in the Tetons , great hikes and beautiful views. We managed to see black bears on one of our hikes. Some surprising dramatic weather whilst we went up the cable car. We were very disappointed to not be able to visit Yellowstone because it was flooded, but our guide Mark Harding more than made up for this with great walks in the Tetons and Glacier Park where we were able to stay another day. We saw grizzly bears and bisson on the reserve. We had a fantastic boat ride and dinner at Coeur D'Alene .All our accomodation was good. My favourite was staying in Glacier park, where Mike, our guide provided us with a fantastic breakfast everyday.
