Wonderful countryside. I particularly liked the countryside accomodation compared to Sam Germignano where the service was a bit brusque, Sienna was ok but not as good as the other places.

We walked the Via from San Miniato to Buonconvento, a major life experience. The Tuscan countryside unfolds and offers picture-perfect vistas every day. The track is very quiet, some days we would only see one or two other walking groups, so plenty of time for reflection. The days were longer than we expected, we certainly weren't fast walkers, so obviously that plays in, but we did find that some of the stretches were uncomfortably hot, in full sun. Often there was long stretches between water, and not many places to stop. You need to factor this in to your thinking and expectations. We had thought about this in advance and carried sun umbrellas that clipped onto our belts and backpacks so that we could walk with our own shade with hands free to use poles... strongly recommend investment. Some of the accommodations were fantastic, others quirky and fun, and a couple disappointing. Highlights in Gambassi Terme and our last night before Buonconvento.

They organised a fabulous experience. The trip was seamless and the information provided was thorough. The accommodation was fabulous and the trip notes and app were informative and I felt well supported. I would highly recommend them.

A great trip, well worth doing. The first day is relatively hard but after that most days were very manageable of around 4 to 5 hours. In the most part the hotels were very conveniently located. The bag pick up and drop off worked perfectly and were waiting at each of our daily destinations without fail. The scenery was magnificent. Tuscany was great and the small villages that you passed through were picture postcard. Loved it.

We loved our walk through the Tuscan hills and gorgeous old towns. It was great to have our bags ready at each hotel and to not have to worry about where we were going to stay.

Fabulous trip in magnificent Tuscan sun for the entire trek and very few fellow travellers. We felt privileged to be there! Every element of their support for our self-guided walk worked extremely well - thank you!
