What an unbelievable trip! This was our first trip on a group tour, and I was impressed! I didn't have to plan a thing, except check weather for my wardrobe. The guide took us to places we would have missed on our own. He was knowledgeable about the area and we seen many beautiful sights. Memorable moment: Went to The Avenue of the Giants and found out it took 12 'cheeseheads", to circle one average sized redwood trees.
Was. Surprised to be charged at airline for luggage. We thought one bag each was included in fee. Alaskan airline was barebones and no help at all when missed connection (Not at all our fault) We were forced to spend the night in Seattle airport. Otherwise tour was informative and fun
I thoroughly loved everyday on our adventure calendar. There was a perfect amount of time doing all that was planned. All the places that we stayed were comfortable and clean. Most had good a good breakfast to start our day. All the places we visited I really appreciated being taken to as I would never have know about some of them. There was always good story about where we were going to get us excited about what we were doing. The Oregon coast is simply gorgeous and the Redwoods are magical. Also, the bus we had for our travels was very comfortable. I can’t wait to find my next adventure with Trafalgar!
Tour guide was the best! Anne was very knowledgeable about the area and went above and beyond. Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, as well as the farms we visited were great!
The itinerary was very good. However, spending 2 hours at the winery was a waste of time. 45 minutes would have accomplished what was need. Also one hour in old Sacramento was not anywhere enough, we need at least 2 hours.
Got to see area I’ve never seen. Learned a lot of history about the area. Food was great. Hotels were great. Our guide Ann was the greatest. We had a wonderful time.
