Salkantay Tours in October 2025

It was the best trek we've ever done. The scenery was breathtaking from the beginning to end and our team was awesome. The guide was very friendly and always joking. He was very informative, he told us a lot about the Macchu Picchu site and the Inca culture. Food was great and we were lucky to have the horsemen with us as they carried all the heavy equipment. Every person of the team was very nice and helpful. I recommend this trek to everyone.

We had a fabulous adventure to Machu Picchu. Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. Views of the snow-capped mountains are breathtaking. The trek was quite difficult for us sometimes but the guide was very motivating and we could take some breaks.

The trip was everything we were looking for. The trek was a little bit challenging at some point but the views are so worth it. Our guide was great and very knowledgeable, he taught us many things about the Inca ruins, the history and the culture. It was a rich cultural experience.

The Remote Salcantay trek was absolutely outstanding. It was a tough trek and the effects of the altitude were difficult to manage. The organisation and the scenery were absolutely outstanding. I would highly recommend this trek to others looking for a quiet and less travelled route- rarely came across fellow trekkers once we turned right on the second day!

It was great getting to Machu Picchu early in the morning as there were not too many tourists. The Salkantay route is really special with impressive views. Our guide Anderson was super passionate about teaching about the local cultures. Thank you Anderson, and the rest of the Bamba team!

Our 5-day Salkantay trek was amazing. The hike is not so easy and one of the guys in the group struggled a bit on day 2 but our guide Anderson was so patient and motivating! We had all bonded like old friends by the last day. Special thanks to our cook, porters and the rest of the Bamba customer team who were really helpful on the phone.
