The itinerary is well paced and allows just the right amount of time at each location. All coach time is well-paced too: we viewed videos, listened to our tour guide, and had breaks/stops at clean locations with adequate facilities and other things to do, too. We took advantage of every excursion and are so glad we did-they were fun, creative and added so much to the overall experience. We loved the chuck wagon cookout, the river float trip, the aerial tram at Jackson Hole, the trip to Badlands National Park and of course, seeing Mt. Rushmore both by day and night. The Crazy Horse Memorial is breathtaking and the visit to the Buffalo Bill Center of the American West was so interesting-we could have stayed another 3 hours there. Lastly, Rapid City was such a surprise: we loved that little town and their patriotism and friendliness. We highly recommend this tour for all age groups!

My wife and I loved this trip. It was well planned and our guide Tyson was fabulous. He set the bar pretty high for future travel guides. I would definitely recommend this trip and Trafalgar to anyone. Hopefully we can plan to travel with them again sometime in the future.

Overall the trip was wonderful and our tour guide, was masterful! He was very knowledgeable , charming, interesting, organized and patient! My only two disappointments were being charged for some of the extras which I thought should have been part of the tour and the “special dinner” with the drink pairings was awful! Otherwise, the tour was beautiful and enjoyable and comfortably navigated by our wonderful bus driver, who wasn’t only very skilled but very personable and friendly! I think we all left the tour feeling like we found a new “Family”‼️ Thank you.

The tour was GREAT! From the care taken by you with the pre-trip info and arrangements to the actual tour it made the trip almost seamless. Mike was a great host, guide, and friend to all and his knowledge of the area was very impressive. Our bus driver was also great. Her knowledge of local things and her care and cheerfulness to us all was appreciated. Riding in an open-air jeep to see buffaloes to the lighting of Mount Rushmore at night are great memories.
