Reviews of our Queenstown Tours for February
Feedback from guests whose tour started in/around Queenstown during February.
We learned about the history of the people and sites. The ancient and current use of the geothermal areas, even eating food cooked in the hot pools was memorable. We rode on 6 different boats in beautiful waterways, seeing native plants and vegetation as well as animal species. The water was glacier blue, clean and clear. Staying in the same hotel for 2 nights in a row, not having to have our bags out early every morning was a treat. We traveled in Land Rovers in the hillsides and rivers of the south NZ island. I loved the Mrs Jones fruit stand stop on the way to the picturesque Milford Sound. Tourists were well received and cared for at all locations. I wished we had more time in Auckland and the north island of NZ. Australia had its own wonderful flavor of living. It was great to experience it as well.
This was the best holiday I have ever been on. The group were very considerate of one another with all travellers being solo over Christmas/New Year, our trip manager and driver were terrific and made this such a memorable trip. Every optional extra was worth doing. I did so many extras that often I had too much to pick and not enough time in the day. The sky driving in Franz Josef was breathtaking. Tasman Sea views one side and Glacier views the other side. Make sure you do the helicopter ride as well. Both quad bikes activities were incredible, swimming with dolphins, bungy, canyon swing, canyoning, funyanks etc the list goes on. Just do it all. The views were amazing. I wish we stayed in Wanaka and less in Christchurch and Wellington as they were dead cities over Christmas/New Year
Hands down the best trip I’ve ever done in my life. I joined the 17-day New Zealand tour with Intro Travel, covering both the North and South Islands, and it absolutely blew me away. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable adventure. The views were next-level — like something out of a movie (pure Lord of the Rings style). Every day brought a new jaw-dropping landscape, from dramatic mountains and crystal-clear lakes to lush forests. New Zealand is a magical place, and this tour showcased it perfectly. A huge shoutout to our guide, Tommy — the best you could ask for. Not only was he hilarious and full of energy, but he also genuinely cared about everyone having the best time possible. Honestly, an absolute legend. The food throughout the trip was amazing — fresh, tasty, and with plenty of variety. If you want the best options, ask Tommy, he's got you covered and hasn't failed me once. Accommodation was also decent. In terms of activities, there are loads to keep you going and busy throughout the day. Also, plenty of opportunities to do extras such as bungy jumping, hiking, paragliding, skydiving - whatever your heart desires! If that's not what you're into there's also a lot of time to take it easy, chill and take in the views. If you’re thinking of doing this tour — stop thinking and book it. Intro Travel knocked it out of the park with this one. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat
Just recently finished the 17 day New Zealand tour with Intro and had such an incredible experience. The tour was well organised, covered so many different areas of New Zealand and was filled with so many great activities. A big thank you to Lauren as well, our group leader who was so friendly whilst on the tour and ensured we all had the best experience. Lauren also made a such an incredible effort to get us from A to B with no issues whatsoever! For anyone looking to travel New Zealand with intro, I would 100% recommend!
Just finished a 17 day tour around the north and south of NZ. What an experience! Cannot recommend Alex, our tour guide, enough. He was always willing to help with anything and very friendly. The activities were well planned and spaced out enough with free time to be enjoyable. We saw a range of different places around NZ including Queenstown, Auckland, Taupo, Tekapo and many others. We also got to see a Māori village, did hikes and adrenaline packed activities like skydiving and paragliding. Special shout out to Alex and his amazing instrumental sl*t drops.
