Our Machu Pichu guide, who was very proud of his Incan roots, said “Peruvians are very proud of Machu Pichu, especially because it was discovered without the influence of the Catholic Church or the Spanish, both of whom referred to the Incans as savages.” As we turned the bend for our first glimpse of the ruins, he stopped and turned and said, “Does this look like something that was created by savages?”

The tour guides provided excellent history and cultural insight at ea h destination. Excellent mix of experiences from beginning to end. Great finale at Larco Museum. The trip leader, David, is the gold standard for a guide and leader. He was the key for a great experience.

This is a trip of a life time. I am so happyb I took the decision to get a tour with Collette. The group was the perfect size, the hotel accommodations were a great choice, the times, meals, schedules were perfect, super organized and protective of the group. The tour was amazing. The guides were personable and informative. The tour gave a wide variety of experiences, including the majestic Machu Picchu site, beautiful churches, and the peacefulness of Lake Titicaca. I found the glimpses into culture through foods, market places and artists enjoyable.

Excellent trip very insightful tour guides. We had some hiccups with the weather and flights. However, our guudes. made it as best as possible. I highly recommend this trip!
