Reviews of our Prague Tours for March
Feedback from guests whose tour started in/around Prague during March.
The tour was a very nice and easy way to explore a region I've always wanted to visit. The hotels were comfortable and well located. I loved Kinga's way of telling us the history and how it related to her own experiences growing up in the region.
Europamundo needs to be more accessible to queries from customers. We received NO information at all at our starting hotel in Prague, and this was our first ever bus tour so the experience was not favourable. We had to contact the head office to enquire about what was happening on our first night the person we spoke with did not contact us back as promised…..We happened to be in the hotel foyer at 5pm when the whole Spanish bus guests arrived with the guide this was the way we found out what was happening on the tour definitely not the way we wanted to experience our first bus tourWe felt it was not well organised at the start but was okay the next few days
Europamundo took the hassle out of our overall trip planning, with friendly and knowledgeable tour guides, coordinated transportation, offers of optional tours and top notch accommodations all we had to do was sit back and enjoy our vacation. Each guide adds a different element to the trip and provides great snippets of cultural and historical facts about the countries and cities you visit. If ever in doubt always do the extra/optional tours, they are a great way to get that extra mile out of your trip, great also if you are not comfortable exploring a new place on your own. If you are a timely person that appreciates a well planned set schedule of daily activities from walking tours to boat cruises and bus tours, this is perfect for you.
The trip was great. Our tour leader Julio was very enthusiastic and helpful. He provided a lot of info about the various places we visited. Julio is one of the reason I would recommend Europamundo to my friends. However our 1st tour leader Manuel took advantage of us and extorted money for the Gondolas in Venice. He charged 35 per head and put 6 people together in a gondola. We found out that the total price of a Gondola ride is 80-100 irrespective of number of people. So, for 6 people, the actual cost would have been 13-15 per head. Even if he charged 20, he would have got some profit. 35 per head is total extortion from tourists like us.
Our Prague Beer and Tapas tour was a major highlight of my stay in Prague. Our guide Nicki was knowledgeable and fun. I felt like I was touring the city with a local who also happened to be a friend. All of the food and beers we sampled were great and I thought the tour was a great value. Even traveling via multiple forms of public transit was fun. I'll recommend this tour to any friend visiting Prague.
Martin was our tour guide and he was excellent! He was very knowledgeable and taught us alot about the beer industry in the Czech Republic. He took us to some wonderful places, the beer was great and the food was delicious and plentiful. Our tour ran a bit long but Martin never made us feel rushed. Would definitely recommend this activity to any travelers to Prague!
