This was a wonderful tour, included places with significant history but also places with local cultural importance-and guides providing all important information.. There was also spontaneous visits for strudel’s and recommendations to excellent local restaurants. Our fantastic tour leader, Csilla, gave us all the necessary travel info to get us going every day for easier travel and managed/adapted unexpected delays. I would definitely recommend this tour!

We recently returned from a Europe tour organized by Insight Vacations, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The entire trip was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to travel at a relaxed and enjoyable pace. There was a great balance between organized activities and optional experiences, which gave us the flexibility to personalize our trip. We also had ample free time to explore each destination on our own, which added to the overall richness of the journey. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and provided just the right amount of information at each site—helping us make informed decisions about optional excursions and how best to spend our free time. The included lunches and dinners were well-chosen and delicious, giving us a real taste of local flavors. And the transportation throughout the tour was exceptionally comfortable, making even longer drives a pleasure. All in all, it was a memorable and well-executed tour—I’d definitely travel with Insight Vacations again!

This is an incredible journey but completely jam-packed (because we chose to do all the optional tours) and not for the faint of heart. There was so much to see and so much to do that there was not really enough time for all the sites. However, the trip gave a fantastic overview of a very interesting part of Europe and the price was well worth it! Would love to have had more time in each city, but gave a great overview and the opportunity for us to choose to go back and spend more time where we want to (which was the plan all along)! Would highly recommend to travelers who want to see and do a lot for a great price!

This itinerary was great that's the reason I booked it. The places visited were excellent, would have liked to see more of Slovakia and Austria. Something that surprised me on this tour was the number of "optional tours" Which gives us more places to visit and see but at an extra cost, on some days we had two optional tours which is a bit over the top. By the end of the tour the total price of the tour has increased and some of us may not be prepared but still want to do it. The tour guide was good, he shared his knowledge of the places we visited and much more. It was a lovely group of fellow travellers from many different countries.

Seeing Prague, Vienna and Budapest was an amazing combination of old world European charm and the cosmopolitan busy-ness of today. The itinerary was excellent for the most part. The town of Gyor was my least favorite place to stop as there were few restaurants and little shopping. What other travelers need to be aware of is that only two dinners are included unless you take an optional tour. Although the brochure is informative, until you are actually on the trip you may not realize this. The optional tours also add more financially.
