Perito Moreno Glacier Tours in September 2025

I did a very similar trip to this in March of this year and everything was just perfect. The company works with small and nice centric hotels which were just a great selection. The staff at each destination was very helpful and kind. Bariloche and Ushuaia were my favourite places in Argentina.

My friends and I chose this tour because it visited all the destinations that we wanted to visit: Buenos Aires, Iguazu, Calafate and Ushuaia. It was great because it was the perfect mix between free time and to do the tours that are a must if it is your first time in Argentina. I was in Argentina before and this time I was able to visit the country in a different way with this tour operator. Thanks so much!

Nearly all of the guides were wonderful. I don’t remember the name of the guide who took us to El Chaltén but we appreciated that he took us seriously as trekkers and suggested a slightly longer trek with beautiful views. We thoroughly enjoyed that trek! And we also were very happy with our guide in Tiera del Fuego. She was very lively, knowledgeable and provided us with a couple of wonderful hike and a delicious lunch. We loved all she knew about the birds, trees and geology on the area.

This trip has been AMAZING! Thank you very much! Everything has gone exactly as scheduled, and everything has been wonderful! I liked all three of the hotels, for different reasons. Arakur was my favorite hotel. The restaurant, fabulous staff, and hiking concierge at Los Cerros were great, and the lake view from my room at Xelena is wonderful! I think El Chalten has been my favorite location, but all locations and all activities have been great! It was a good mix of guided hikes with self-guided hikes. I wasn't sure about Estancia Nibepo Aike, but it was great! The lunch and three-hour trail ride were amazing! It was such fun with such amazing scenery! You have a beautiful country! Thank you,"

Hi Tina, We are well thank you and trust you are too. We certainly enjoyed our trip to Argentina and Chile, and would not hesitate to recommend you and your company. We choose this travel company due to its prompt feedback and attention to detail. Our favorite hotels were Gray Lago and Altos Ushuaia. Our favorite excursion was Tierra Del Fuego & Torres Del Paine. Scenery and expert guides. If I need to mention the best guides were Matheus @ Huellas der Sur & Joachim @ Canal fun. I had only two comments I would like to say: Mirador Del Lago Hotel rooms and linen were looking old. Altos Ushuaia Hotel was substandard for our level of travel. All the rest was great! Hi Marcela, I identified this tour organizer from an internet search for Patagonia Tours. I then read some of the positive ratings from other travelers. I decided to book through it because of a) positive reviews from other travellers; b) the itinerary that you offered suited what I wanted; and c) I liked the idea of being reasonably independent and not having too much organised or being part of a week long tour. There were probably a number of highlights. In terms of the actual arrangements, the ease of having most of my travel and hotel bookings completed without having to concern myself with them was a highlight. In terms of the actual trip, I really enjoyed the hiking at El Chalten and the one day that I hiked to Mt Fitz Roy was the highlight for me. The hotel in El Calafate (Kau Yatun) was the best one of the trip. Very comfortable, good service, good restaurant and nice location. As mentioned above, it was not an excursion, but the hiking in El Chalten was my favourite. However, at El Calafate, I booked an additional excursion to Estancia Christina on my one free day, and that excursion was great.The guides were all good. I think the guide from El Calafate who did the Perito Moreno glacier tour - I think her name was Danielle - was great, very friendly, helpful and professional.
