Passau Tours in October 2026

Great trip. Journey from Passau to Budapest by cycle was very manageable for the two of us. Distances were not too demanding. All accommodation and luggage transfer was well organized and without problems. First half, from Passau to Vienna was probably more scenic than second half and may suit those wanting a shorter trip.

The trip was very well organized, and the cruise team highly responsive in very satisfactory and creative ways on our behalf to unforeseen weather and water level constraints. The ship crew were very competent and friendly. I would recommend their river cruise to others.

Fantastic holiday from start to finish. Very well run, staff were amazing, food was out of this world, everything went smoothly, cycling routes were very pleasant, relaxing and just the right length to combine a holiday with time to explore the area. Very happy, this was my first holiday of this kind and I would not hesitate to do another.

The bike and barge tour is a great way to explore and experience cities, villages, and the natural beauty along the Danube River. We loved the simplicity of having a local guide brief us on sites to see and not having to navigate unfamiliar roads. The food and service aboard the boat was excellent and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We highly recommend the Danube bike and barge tour!

Our bike and boat trip on the Danube from Passau to Vienna was one of my favorite vacations. The MS Swiss Crown was a wonderful boat with excellent service and staff. Our room was comfortable. We made new friends, saw beautiful places, had a lovely guide and enjoyed being active. Our additional night in Passau was in a lovely B&B even though we had to climb stairs. I would definitely recommend this trip!
